Led the entire IT Team for North America. Managed diverse business application development,
infrastructure and support teams across multiple locations, including all recruiting, staffing, role definition,
goal setting and performance management. Defined, maintained and enhanced relevant IT service levels
and metrics. Managed total IT budget (over $12 million) for US. and Canada with oversight of Mexican
IT budget and projects. Staff 20-30 full time plus outsourced development and support organizations.

maintained and supported IT strategic and operational plans across all IT functions.
Aligned all IT deliverables with business strategy and operating models. Facilitated effective and
proactive business engagement through strategic planning, requirements definition, analysis, application
support, issue resolution and ongoing training. Provided direction on infrastructure design, integration
architectures, database administration, custom application development, and support. Worked crossfunctionally with business groups to drive consensus on technology solutions.
Mergers
& Acquisitions. Assimilated over a dozen acquisitions into the companies systems. Initially
involved at the due diligence phase, including on-site visits and system functionality evaluations. Then
managed the acquisition integration projects for Accounting, Finance, Operations and Purchasing as well
as all IT functions. Estimated savings gained through assimilation over $3 million per year.

Vendor
Management. Developed and maintained all IT and Telecommunications vendor contracts and
relationships. Centralized telecomm billing yielding 25 % savings and improved problem resolution.
Project
Management. Wrote RFP's for best of breed solutions for BI (TM1), Communications and
Collaboration (Office 365/SharePoint), and Health, Safety and Environment solutions (SAI Global).
Selected winning bidders and negotiated contracts. Drove consensus across five continents to deliver
single global solutions to over 10,000 users. Annual savings $2 million in development and licensing fees.
Disaster
Recovery and High Availability. Designed and implemented DR and HA solution to recover
IT services within 2 hours. Migrated 1,000 users from on-premise email to the Cloud. Improved
availability by 20%.

Payroll
& Human Resources. Managed the Payroll department for the US division and acted as the
head security officer for Payroll and HR systems, comprised of multiple salaried and hourly payroll
companies of over 2,500 employees.
Planning & Execution. Created IT roadmap and strategy for this start-up company.
Developed and created all IT functions for real-time electronic security monitoring and financial services.
Staffed, Managed & Mentored. Hired, managed, created performance goals and governance models
for IT department.
Application Development. Designed, delivered and installed systems with third party vendor to
monitor and invoice over 100,000 customers throughout the country.
Infrastructure and Operations. Implemented fully redundant systems to provide for continuous
operation (24/7/365) of commercial and residential monitoring at five Central Stations strategically
located in the USA.
