PSYCHOLOGY

PRACTICAL: 15 Hrs

COURSE DISCRIPTION: - This course is designed to reorients and widens the student knowledge of fundamentals of psychology.
This course would also help the student to develop an insight into her own behavior.
PLACEMENT OF COURSE: - First year and spread throughout the year
GENERAL OBJECTIVES: - At the end of the course, the student will be:

Apply psychological principles while performing nursing duties.

Distinguish the psychological processes during health and sickness.

Analyze own behavior patterns.

Tabulate the psychological needs of the patient for planning Nursing care.

Participate in psychometric assessment of the client
