Weekly market view

Markets lost the positive momentum so gained in previous few weeks and
dragged gradually during the week over weak global cues and depreciating
Rupee and finally closed in red territory losing around 1.5% during the week.
On weekly charts, Nifty future had tested the 100 day EMA and closed
around the upper band of channel pattern. If it falls again the channel then
selling pressure could be seen in the index where 7700 is seen as immediate
resistance while 7530 may act as next support for it. However, any gains
above the resistance of 7800 can again lead the index in strong zone. Key
economic indicators this week are CPI & IIP on Thursday.
