BRAINSTORM
SAMPLE ANSWER
Robert and Danny are mischievious boys. They always get into
trouble together. These two boys like to stay up late into the night
chatting over their smartphones. All their mothers advices always fall on
deaf ears. One day, while their teacher was busy teaching in the
classroom, both the boys fell asleep at their desks. They slept like logs
and started snoring loudly.
Their teacher, Mr. Paul , noticed that the two boys have dozed of
in the class. He was as angry as a wasp. He woke them up and gave them
a tongue lashing. Robert and Danny were so shocked to see Mr Paul
looking at them angrily. They felt embarrassed too because their
classmates laughed at them. As a punishment, their teacher sent them to
the headmaster.
The headmaster scolded them for their lackadaisical attitude. He
explained to them the importance of education. He even gave them a
stern warning before letting them go. Robert and Danny felt remorseful
and ashamed of themselves. They promised to the headmaster that they
will turn into a new leaf. They apologised to the headmaster and Mr Paul
for their misdeed. From that day onwards, they went to bed early so that
they will not fall asleep during lessons. Robert and Danny have learnt their
lessons now.

Steven is an athlete who can run as fast as lightning. King 0f
the field is the moniker given to him by his schoolmates. A few days ago,
Stevens school held its annual Sports Day grandly at the stadium. A day
before the event, the stadium was painted-red by the teachers and pupils.
It was a feast to the eyes to see multi-coloured buntings and balloons
hung all over the place. The red-lettered day was officiated by the
headmaster,Mr. Mokhtar, after giving a highly motivating speech to the
participants of the track and field events. Everyone applauded loudly as
he cut the decorated ribbon to officially declare the Sports Day of SK
Taman Cendana.
As always Steven took part in most of the running events but
the highlight was the 100-metre race. He ran like the wind as soon as the
air pistol was fired by the referee. He fought tooth and nail to win the race
since all the other ethletes were equally good. At last, he managed to
reach the finishing line first to win the coveted trophy.

Atan and his sister are fond of their grandparents. Hence, they
make it a point to pay them a visit whenever it is possible. During the last
school holidays, his parents decided to spend some time at their village.
Atan and his sister were over the moon to hear that. They left for their
village in Terengganu early in the morning since it was a long journey.
Their father drove carefully to ensure their safety. Along the journey, they
saw a variety of flora and fauna. It was indeed a feast to the eyes.
After the turtle went back to the sea, all the curious onlookers
dispersed from the scene grinning broadly. Back home the children
showed the SETs to their grandmother who was waiting patiently with
piping hot breakfast. After visiting other places, it was time to leave. They
embraced their grandparents and promised to visit them again during the
next holiday.

like foreigners, looking at something quietly with torchlight in hands. As they approached the
spot, they were spellbound to see a huge leatherback turtle laying eggs in a hole. Atan was
astonished to see hundreds of eggs being laid by the humble reptile. He quickly grabbed his
camera and started taking several shots as remembrance. It was one of the most interesting
experiences he had ever gained.
