5. Attesting Statement:
Procedures for the acquisition of navigation data from suppliers as well as the generation and distribution of
navigation databases for specific CMCE products in accordance to product and customer specific requirements
are identified, planned and carried out under controlled conditions, in order to ensure the quality of those
products and services.
The customer navigation database files that support the products and software versions stated in block 6
below, for the above referenced AIRAC Cycle, released and distributed by CMC Electronics Inc. for its
navigation products are generated in accordance to the requirements of RTCNDO-200A STANDARDS FOR
PROCESSING AERONAUTICAL DATA and the guidance of FAA Advisory Circular 20-1 53A ACCEPTANCE
OF DATA PROCESSES AND ASSOCIATED NAVIGATION DATABASES. CMC has been audited by
TCCNFAA and has successfully passed the audit and has been accepted by the FAA as equivalent to an FAA
Type 2 Letter of Acceptance fLOA). The content of CMCs navigation database files are extracted from ARINC
424 databases received from Type 1 LOA holders.
Under the terms of this Database Integrity Declaration (DID), the end user shall use the navigation database file
on the CMC product for which it is intended. The end user must use the navigation database for its intended
function and shall not add, delete, or modify any portion of this navigation database supplied by CMC
Electronics Inc. without invalidating this declaration.
The data in this release cycle may include customer tailored data not originating from a state authority. For this
data, the end user must satisfy itself for suitability with the intended use.
