Murdock Manufacturings Legacy

For over one-hundred sixty years, Murdock Manufacturing
has been a benchmark in the water industry. As early as
1858, while most people were drawing water from
common wells, Murdock was manufacturing and installing
frost-free water hydrants throughout the midwest. Our
M-1776 Old Style was one of the very first drinking
fountain designs. We still manufacture this classic fountain,
and many of our products made over a century ago can
still be serviced with original
parts. As a leading manufacturer

Year-Round Freeze-Resistant
Our Classic Series is based on original Murdock fountain construction. With
its distinctive, tulip filigree-style pedestal and brass polished bowl and bubbler,
this popular design affords beauty and durability that lasts a lifetime.
Our original M-1776 Old Style fountain is still pedal operated and is as reliable as
it was over a century ago. The rest of the classic series now includes fountains

with pushbutton activation and other updated features. Constructed

of heavy-duty gray iron and brass, these fountains are the

perfect addition to any theme or historic setting.

Single Height with Foot Pedal

The freeze-resistant, pedal operated M-1776
is a Murdock original design. With a decorative
pedestal and brass polished bowl and bubbler,
this fountain is the choice for historic parks

Seasonal
Murdocks architectural series of fountains are the industry

standard in providing drinking fountain accessibility for
everyone. All models in this series are ADA compliant.
Architectural Series fountains are constructed with solid
brass bowls and a heavy cast iron body and base. Heavyduty construction ensures durability and field-serviceable
components are easily accessible. All inner parts are
removable for convenient above-grade maintenance.
All models in this series feature push button operation
and can be made freeze-resistant by adding -FRU after
the desired model number.

Retro Series
Murdocks Retro Series models are the most durable line
of fountains in the industry. Constructed of all brass parts
and a stainless-steel mainspring, their classic design and
pedal operation complements any location in all four
seasons. The control valve on Retro Series models is
located below the frost line to provide anti-freezing
functionality. All inner parts are removable for
convenient, above-grade maintenance.

Murdock Manufacturings Outdoor Bottle Fillers offer a fast and convenient method of
obtaining drinking water, encouraging the use of refillable water bottles and reducing the
waste associated with disposable water bottles. Models include standalone bottle fillers
and units with built-in drinking fountains and pet fountains. A variety of standard colors
and finishes are available. All GY Series bottle fillers have hidden mounting points for a
clean look when installed. Custom graphics can be added to personalize any bottle filler.

All of our G series fountains are designed with heavy 12 gage stainless steel. Fountains can be provided in a
satin stainless steel finish or powder coated in your choice of colorsFairway Green, Firehouse Red, Alpine
Blue or other available colors. Stainless steel is the ideal material for outdoor drinking fountains because of its
durability and corrosion resistance. Powder coating adds color that is durable and chip resistant for a longlasting finish.
The contoured stainless steel basins with rounded corners and edges reduce splash over, ensure proper
drainage and reduce standing wastewater. Vandal-resistant bubblers are one-piece cast brass and chrome
plated. All GR series fountains are pushbutton activated with adjustable flow control. In addition, logically
placed matching access panels allow for an easy hook-up of all the plumbing connections.

Enhanced Design Universal Bi-Level Water Cooler
This single-station, ADA-compliant water cooler

includes many enhancements over standard units.
Installation and maintenance are made easier with a patent
pending auto-stop feature that turns off the water when
the strainer cap is removed, a flush-mounted pushbutton for
improved vandal resistance, and the capability to replace the
cartridge and clean the strainer without removing the basin or
lower wrapper. Includes bottle counter display.
This two-station, ADA-compliant water cooler includes many

enhancements over standard units. The unit is equipped
with a universal bi-level feature that allows the high fountain
to be installed on the right or left with no additional parts.
Installation and maintenance are made easier with a simplified
bi-level drain assembly, patent pending auto-stop feature
that turns off the water when the strainer cap is removed,

water from the host water cooler. With a 1 GPM flow
rate, touch-free sensor operation, and laminar flow
to eliminate splash, this unit provides a convenient
way for users to refill water bottles, helping to reduce

This semi-recessed stainless steel bottle filler has a
1 GPM flow rate, touch-free sensor operation, and
laminar flow to eliminate splash. Bottle fillers can help
to reduce waste from disposable water bottles and
encourage use of environmentally friendly refillable
water bottles.

mounted in any wall space
4 or deeper and features a
slim housing for space-saving
convenience. The MCBF3
features pushbutton activation
