loading compared to
conventional centrifugal
pumps, resulting in extended
seal and bearing life.
Pump Casing
The radially-split pump case
is available in a variety of
materials to meet all types
of process needs.
The case can be rotated to
alternate discharge positions
for installation needs.
P-1500 and P-2000 cases are available with either NPT or flanged connection. P-3000 is flanged only.
Gears
AGMA quality class 11 gears made of alloy steel, precision ground to guarantee a minimum G-10 life of 12 years and
maximum interchangeability. A variety of gear ratios ensures maximum flexibility in hydraulic performance.
Lubrication System
All gearboxes include an integral wet sump with either a splash or pressure lubrication system eliminating the need for
auxiliary components.

Frame Mounted Pump

The frame mounted configuration offers a greater
degree of performance diversity and added driver
flexibility such as the use of standard electric motors,
steam turbines, and internal combustion.

Close-Coupled Pump
The close-coupled design incorporates the proven Sunflo
design in an integral pump and motor package. This
configuration provides a compact lightweight unit that
does not utilize bedplates, couplings or belts. Installation
is simplified and alignment of the pump and motor is not
necessary. Close-coupled pumps are ideal for OEM
packages and other industrial applications where a frame
unit is not desired.

Shaft Assembly Exchange Program

Sunflo offers a factory exchange program for its high-speed shaft assembly replacements. This convenient
program allows you to send in your old shaft assembly and receive a return credit, providing significant cost
savings. Best of all, rebuilt units have the same quality construction, testing and factory warranty as new shaft
assemblies.

Easy Maintenance
Sunflo pumps incorporate a modular high-speed shaft assembly containing all of the pump rotating parts, seals and
bearings. This assembly is easily removed from the gearbox by removing the pump casing bolts. Since no alignment,
measurement, or adjustment of the shaft and seals is necessary, reassembly is quick and error free. With replacement
in less than an hour, downtime is kept to a minimum.
