Truce Between Science and Religion
Science is the art of studying, understanding and explaining natural phenomena. Exploration of
underlying natural laws in the quest of How things work? requires much toil. Particles / planets / universe
use to behave as they do irrespective of whether Newton / Kepler / Einstein formulated the relevant laws or
not. Why and how there are such and such laws of nature, self organization for example, that render life
possible?. Are they coded / imprinted into our universe randomly so that life is devoid of any conscious,
godly attributes?. Many scientists prefer not to ask such anthropic questions, otherwise they say, you fall into
the trap of God. Whether we accept an intelligent designer or not, intelligent designs (IDs) are everywhere,
visible or invisible yet detectable. The question What is the designer like? sounds much like What is
water? , that a fish may face. The designer must be conceived as the transcendental, intrinsic mind of our
conscious universe, who imposes laws and governs everything from within. Throughout history in all
cultures the name of this designer is invariably God. From this perspective what we call a natural law
becomes automatically a law of God. The honour equally goes to a scientist whenever he (she) explores
such a law. As the cause-effect relations in physics can be explained by the concept of fields / interactions,
permeating all space, universality of natural laws reflects their very omnipresent designer. That is, the very
wisdom of natural laws justifies a supernatural intervention. Miracles, however constitute the hardest issues
in religions which may be reconciled only within the context of higher, hidden dimensions of space, as we
shall remark below. Complex biological systems are fabricated from smaller units (bits) through the sacred,
i.e. taken for granted (God given) laws, such as self-organization, natural selection etc. Each bit, out of
(almost) infinite number, is ascribed intelligence to organize, select and be exactly where, how and what it
should be. Everything is accomplished by the sub-cell bits so, we dont need God! Stated otherwise, in
science we experience a shift of deity to prompt us declare cheerfully: The Great King is dead, long life to
the micro kings.!
Adherents of religions on the other hand are concerned with hidden causes in all events, mainly social,
purpose of life, moral perfections and ultimately how to attain a godly character, both here and in the
Hereafter. Although the interests of science and religion seem disjoint, grey zones cant be denied.
Historically, scientists have mostly been believers of God. Topics in the domain of science must not be
intruded by religion and vice versa. Bible refers to the latest (~6000 years) phase of our Earths life whereas
science addresses to billions of years. Religion must respect the predictive power of science while in turn
science, beside admitting its limitations, must respect religion as a separate discipline of divine origin.
Divinity transcends science; it is connected directly to an omnipotent God. Criticizing religions and their
followers is acceptable, already this is done extensively, but fighting against God is a war that, by definition,
no mankind can win.
Much like the Abbotts flatlanders, we must consider ourselves open to surprises (i.e. supernaturals)
ranging from UFOs (if any) to haunting events. As worldlanders, without reference to the higher dimensional
spaces we may never grasp metaphysics. The lesson taught by the Kaluza-Klein theory is intriguing indeed,
and it can be claimed within this context that any extraterrestrial intelligence / life is an extra dimensional
one. Projection of higher dimensions into our 4-dimensional world (i.e. 1 time plus 3 space) creates matter
fields! The readers may guess easily that an inverse process has far reaching implications as well. How to
visualize the 4 (space) dimensional world?. Is there any hint in the art of Picasso, or others?. Any such
observation will reveal much more than a simple mind-flip of Escher type. Unless this is well-understood all
our claims pertaining to the other (parallel) worlds will exist only in theory, not practice. As one has to open
the box to see whether Schrodingers famous cat is alive / dead, one must die before witnessing the Hereafter,
of course, at the heavy cost of no return. That is, experiencing becomes the reality in which life offers no

reset. Scientist are concerned so much to know about the fate of matter / universe, the hows, whys, whens,
etc. At least they should spare some time to contemplate on their own death. While the loss of information
through black holes is a great concern the loss of information in human mind after death deserves attention as
well. In striking analogy with the physics of a black hole, the near-death experiences (NDE) occur just before
ones life-holes event horizon (i.e. point of no return). After recovery from an NDE one admits that instantly
the whole life passes through ones eyes / minds, like a speeded up movie film. Scientists invest billions of
dollars to detect the Higgs boson, or the Gods particle , as dubbed by its fans. Yet the same scientists ask
for the spiriton, the element of human spirit to be seen free of charge!.
A photon (i.e. light quantum) materializes, under certain conditions, into virtual pair of electronpositron which are IDs. Physicists have devised ways to detect these virtual particles so that they are in fact
real. They have specific mass, charge, spin but more interestingly they know, from birth to death, how to
obey the intricate quantum laws. The parent photon is also equally an ID; altogether the trio, (i.e. photon,
electron and positron) orchestrate the whole quantum electrodynamics (QED) symphony which governs a
vast proportion of our world. Recall also that specific photons from unspecific origins, divine/mundane
according to religious/scientist, impinge on our brains, initiate or modify our thoughts to shape our fate. With
their tachyonic (i.e. faster than light) polarizations the entangled photons have the potential to revolutionize
our whole computer world. To quote R.P. Feynmans scientific honesty, no one understands the details of
all these things!. Virtual particles leading to temporary violation of certain sacred physical laws, ghost
photons, mass without mass, Dirac sea, creation annihilation of particles, infinite self-energies, are some of
the key, albeit strange concepts that physicists under the subject of Quantum Field Theory (QFT) deal with.
Who knows, may be this is the way that God creates something from nothing. Whether we say God makes it,
or quantum laws make it, does it differ?. If particles with sophisticated information crop up from the vacuum
what prevents their higher ID combinations, such as atoms, molecules, DNA etc?. Arent the vacuum
oddities rich enough to create more and serve as a carpet to sweep our dirts (problems) under?. Gods
creation of the most famous ID pair, namely Adam Eve in His own (proper) frame instantly, in higher
dimensional spaces may take according to Einstein b(m)illions of years in Charles Darwins earth bound
frame. These two apparently conflicting views are according to religion/science, respectively, and they are in
fact complementary. This applies also to the 6000 years of Biblical count. After all isnt time relative? Based
on this fact each evolution is a slowed down process of creation whereas life itself is a slow death process.
And to be fair to the religious, intelligent designing plus godly soul must both be contributing in this process,
otherwise blind chance has no room in religion. Chance, they say, is a word existing only in dictionaries.
With death, the human soul transmigrates through a wormhole type no return channel into a higher
dimensional world (i.e. to where it came from), remaining entangled yet to our world in some way that may
explain mysterious phenomena. (Recall that virtual wormholes also can be created from our endless
vacuum). I suggest that everyone must make a simple account of oneself: huge information stored in our
minds plus deeds of lifelong experiences, from cradle to grave, all will perish with death!. How can life be so
aimless? Doesnt passage to an abstract space of higher dimensionality sound more logical as a requirement
of conservation laws and accountability? Unlike Alice, however, in this passage many souls may not enjoy
wonderlands! Given its severe limitations in an infinitely large universe, why should one accept the motto of
science which states that, anything undetectable by scientific means cant exist? Or why to highlight the
claim, no phenomenon is a phenomenon, unless it is a detected phenomenon to its extremes? Who can claim
that life forms beyond the light barrier dont exist; and how about if the humans intrinsic soul is in that
category?. No scientific proof is available for such scenarios that will continue occupying the human mind
forever, true, but anyone to disprove them?. Mankind has infinite weaknesses that necessitate an infinite
source of power to derive support from. That indispensable, singular source is called God, and with sciences
and arts we must listen also to the hearts. If not, myriad of substitute gods will be devised, science being
one of them.
