Search Engine Optimisation(SEO)

Search engine optimisation commonly abbreviated to SEO is the process
whereby a web site, or more specifically a web page or document, is constructed or
amended in such a way as to improve its placement in the search engine results
pages or SERPs. Search engine optimisation should not be seen as an end in itself. It
is a function that should be undertaken to improve the overall commercial
performance of a web site. Good search engine optimisation will ensure that a page
appears higher in the search engine results for a range of relevant, specific and
valuable search terms or queries. The simple objective of SEO is to generate more
valuable web site traffic. The achievement of a higher ranking against relevant
search terms has commercial value for a web site because it will attract more traffic
than a lower ranking. In an increasingly crowded online environment, search engine
optimisation is therefore a crucial online marketing discipline.

The role of SEO is to legitimately influence the process of improving rankings. There
are few genuine guarantees of a top placement, particularly for highly competitive
search terms. Good SEO will improve a web sites ranking across a range of selected
terms. However, any process whereby a search engine is illicitly manipulated in
order to guarantee a high placement is referred to as spamming. The successful
execution of a search engine optimisation project requires skills in the areas of
analysis, research, planning, copy writing and communication. A comprehensive
search engine optimisation project is divided into four interrelated phases.
1. Pre-site activities
The research and planning activities undertaken before an existing or new site or
page is actually touched or built.
Understanding your organisations online business strategy
Researching your market category, customers and competitors
Keyword research and selection
2. On-site activities
The activities directly involved in the content and design of web pages.

Writing the title, description and keyword meta tags

Writing content Body copy, titles, image tags, outbound links that reflect and
enhance keywords.
Building internal links Helping the search engines navigate the site
Site design and construction - Ensuring the web page utilises design and code that
can be properly crawled and indexed by the search engines.
3. Off-site activities
Building a portfolio of quality inbound links to your web site.
4. Post site activities Analysing and responding to site traffic and user feedback
once a web site has been optimised. Effective SEO is a continuous activity.

Liquid Crystal on Silicon Display

Existing cathode ray tube (CRT) projectors have limitations in regard to resolution
and luminance. This shortcoming has been offset by recently developed liquid
crystal display (LCD) projectors or digital light processor (DLP) projectors .liquid
crystal on silicon (LCOS) provides higher sharpness, resolution and luminance
compared to the CRT, and thus, provides better image quality. the LCOS has a lightreflective structure in which pixel electrodes are arranged on a silicon substrate,
causing light emitted from a lamp to reflect. The reflective type LCOS can realize a
system offering good brightness because pixel driving electrodes do not block the
light and therefore increase the light transmission. It can achieve high resolution
because it has pixels on a silicon substrate using a semiconductor fabrication
process, high resolution because it has pixels on a silicon substrate using a
semiconductor fabrication process. LCOS display device has a competitive price
because existing semiconductor fabrication process can be directly used. important
parameters that causes image quality deterioration in the display devices is the
uniformity of cell gap between two substrates.response speed, contrast, visual
angle, and luminance of the characteristics of liquid crystal cells have a close
relationship with the thickness of the liquid crystal layer.conventional spacers in the
LCOS display device is necessary to solve the non-uniformity problem of the cell

Revisiting Defenses Against

Large Scale Online Password
Guessing Attacks
Online guessing attacks are commonly observed against web applications and SSH
logins. Automated Turing Tests-Limits the number of guesses from a single machine.
Focus on reducing user annoyance by challenging users with fewer Automated
Turing Tests(ATT) and subjecting bot logins to more ATTs. Introduces a new protocol
called password guessing resistant protocol. PGRP make use of both cookies and IP
address. In this presentation, we will discuss about Defensnes Against Large Scale
Online Password Guessing Attacks.

Decision Function For Requesting Automated Turing Tests

The decision to challenge the user with an ATT depends on two factors:
Whether the user has authenticated successfully from the same machine

The total number of failed login attempts for a specific user accout.

Global Wireless E-Voting

In the era of technology, the voting machine, which is present today, is
highly unsecured. Being in the age of Computers we are compromising the
security by opting for Electronic voting machine because in the present
electronic voting machine is not intelligent that is it cannot determine the
person came for the voting is eligible or not. That mean the whole control is
kept in the hand of voting in charge officer. One more risk with the present
voting machine is that any body can increase the vote count, since the count
is present in the machine itself.
In proposed machine that is "Global Wireless E-Voting". In this the machine is
made intelligent which can determine the eligibility of the voter by scanning
the eye pattern and also the vote count is not kept into the same machine
itself instead of it it is store in the remote server by converting it into radio
waves. Here there is no chance of increasing the vote count of machine.
Even in case of damage to voting machine there will not be harm to
continuity of the election process. The overall concept of "Global Wireless EVoting" is explained. In India election has supreme weight- age . So to make

it secured and efficient in the vision of modern technology we are Global

Wireless E-Voting. Why we are looking for it?
