JOB DESCRIPTION
PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB (GENERAL DESCRIPTION):
1. Performs overall Production Planning and Control related functions, i.e. checking materials
availability, manpower assignment, production schedule and delivery.
2. Plans and directs activities concerned with production work executions, compliance with
delivery schedule and efficient utilization of resources.

LEVEL OF AUTHORITY:
Performs routine and non-routine duties according to the order and instructions of the
Superior. Is authorized to prepare PPC documents and transaction records or data
relating to production planning matters.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed primarily in production and office setting both inside and outside the
company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


1. In-charge for the preparation of production job schedule for each order from order
receiving to shipment.
2. Monitors each jobs are executed on schedule and keep tracks of the committed dead
line completion to customers (Production and Delivery Target).
3. Ensure proper coordination of incoming customer materials to have it available for
processing within the planned production schedule.
4. Prepares Material Requirement Sheet according to customer specification, calculates
material consumption and estimates cost of each material.
5. Checks availability of machines and equipments, monitor its optimum usage and
verifies preventive maintenance are conducted as planned.
6. Helps define the flow of sequence of operation and processes to be followed in
producing finished product.
7. Estimates production working hours, daily required output quantity and production
costs.
8. Ensure Job Orders are loaded according to line capabilities, performance and
capacity.
9. Responsible for assigning work to different production lines and provide instruction of
priorities as defined in the production schedule.
10.Communicate closely to customers and different departments to suggest how much
order should be accepted based on production capacity. Suggest how much capacity

will be used for an order out of total factory capacity. Keeps updates of current
production capacity.
11.Keep close monitoring of progress according to production plan. Pro-actively work
with production heads on daily basis to keep plan on track.
12.Updates completion of production schedule and job orders. Make necessary
corrective actions or adjustments when there are problems with schedule and inform
all parties about the nature of delay.
13.Ensure compliance to procedure and requirements of Quality Management System
standards.

1. May perform portions of the work of higher classified jobs occasionally, as assigned.
2. May perform duties of similar complexity in a department or in the whole
organization as required or assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION/REQUIRED COMPETENCY


WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. 1 2 years work experience in the same position or work function
2. At least 1 year related work experience in manufacturing set-up.
3. At least 1 year work experience as staff level position.
EDUCATION:
1. Bachelors Degree or equivalent two-year college or technical education.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
1. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from
internal and external customers
2. Ability to work with measurements and mathematical concepts.
3. Problem solving skills
4. Excellent communication skills including active listening and effective
speaking.
5. Proficient in the use of office software (i.e. Excel, MS Word, Power point).
6. Knowledge in government laws and regulations.
7. Knowledge in ISO 9001 Standard
8. Ability to handle interpersonal transactions and diplomatic undertakings.
