Ubuntu Touch Developer is currently running on the devices listed below.

For the list of supported devices (not including ports), please see
developer.ubuntu.com/start.
Images are currently built in the Canonical data center and they are based on vivid plus
ppa:ci-train-ppa-service/stable-phone-overlay. They are published on
cdimages.ubuntu.com and system-image.ubuntu.com

Adding your image

If you have any questions about the images or would like to get images added, ask us on the mailing list. The more specific you can be about how your
image is put together, the better. In the beginning you might want to add your image below to the Work in progress section.

A few points to bear in mind are:
add your contact details - Launchpad page or email address both work
if you upload an image or code, bear in mind that many might be interested in it, so make sure the quality of the image is good and that it is hosted in
a place that can withstand a potential surge of visitors
announce it on the mailing list

Working with ubuntu-device-flash

The following devices all are working with ubuntu-device-flash script as explained in Install instructions here. The latest status for what is working is
here. They are using system-image system for installation and support OTA updates. They are hosted at https://system-image.ubuntu.com

Note that production devices need an adb enabled recovery to work with ubuntu-device-flash, as discussed on askubuntu here.

Working ports w/ system-image server

These ports have their own system-image server owned by some community member, which means they support OTA updates and can be installed using
ubuntu-device-flash script with --server="<url>" parameter.

Server at http://system-image.tasemnice.eu
This server belongs to Vojtech Bocek (Tassadar on irc.freenode.net). It is configured to follow devel and devel-proposed channels of systemimage.ubuntu.com server and builds releases for following devices:
Device

Board name

Notes

Nexus 5

hammerhead

Bluetooth doesn't work; Power management issues (the battery performance isn't great)

Nexus 7 2013 (WiFi+LTE)

deb

Works as well as official flo builds, but supports mobile data on LTE version of N7

To install Ubuntu Touch from this server on your device, see instructions at the Touch/Install page, except when invoking ubuntu-device-flash
command, add a --server="http://system-image.tasemnice.eu" argument to it, like this:
ubuntu-device-flash --server="http://system-image.tasemnice.eu" touch --channel="ubuntu-touch/devel" --bootstrap
Due to lack of disk space, it only hosts these channels: ubuntu-touch/devel, ubuntu-touch/devel-proposed, ubuntu-touch/ubunturtm/devel and ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/devel-proposed and their aliases (e.g. ubuntu-touch/devel -> ubuntu-touch/trusty). You
can always get current list of channels on the server by examining http://system-image.tasemnice.eu/channels.json or by using this command:
ubuntu-device-flash --server="http://system-image.tasemnice.eu" query --list-channels --device=hammerhead
Version numbers at system-image.tasemnice.eu should be in sync with official builds at system-image.ubuntu.com. When new version appears
at system-image.ubuntu.com, it will take approximatelly one or two hours for tasemnice to process and publish it, depending on what exactly has
changed.
The server is simple VPS with unlimited traffic on a 100Mbit/s line located in Czech Republic (Central Europe). It might get a bit slow if too many people use
it, so be a bit tolerant about its speed

Working ports, but w/o system-image server

The following devices have been contributed by a variety of Ubuntu Touch lovers. They however do not live on system-image.ubuntu.com or
any other system-image server. This is due to three primary reasons:

Redistributability: For every bit of firmware we need to know that we are absolutely allowed to redistribute it through its license.
We need to know which code changes need to be done and they need to be integrated.
We need to be able to create the image easily.
Apart from that a few things in the infrastructure need to still be figured out, but it'd be fantastic if we can get this done together.
Some notes:
Please try to keep the tables sorted.
Please use the Touch/Devices/PortTemplate page as a template to add a subpage to this table.
Device names in bold can be flashed by using phablet-flash community --device <vendor> (ie: i9100).

Seemingly Abandoned Ports

Many ports were creating during the initial buzz of the Ubuntu Touch developer preview in mid 2013, but have not been updated since then. These ports are
now very out of date, will probably lack features such click/snap support, and will require a lot of work to bring them up to date. Feel free to update the status
pages and move them back to the active section if you know of activity on these ports.
