It gives me an immense pleasure to share
my own Mosaic of Memories in AIMST
University. It has been one great year that
we have shared many delightful events and
revels. It has been an honor being employed
at AIMST University and to be the part of a
great learning curve that definitely will prove
indispensable in the future.
I would like to extend my utmost gratitude
to the university management for their
dedication and commitment, without which
we would not have been able to work in such
a lovely and friendly environment. I would
also like to express my sincere appreciation to
my fellow colleagues for their full assistance
and support.
I wish each and every one of the AIMST
Family Member the very best of luck in future
endeavors and may we continue to cherish
the friendships we have fostered over the
past year to continue this prosperous journey.
My experience at AIMST is very pleasant
rather many are inspiring.

I am with AIMST University for over 5 years
and have spent more than 10 years employed
in the private sector. In university, I feel like
I was a part of something special and that
was important to me to help in achieving
universitys vision and mission. AIMST is
a great place to work! The best to cite are
peaceful work atmosphere, suggestions
for changes are received openly, easy to
execute changes, great co-workers, friendly
environment, lots of training opportunities,
recognition is given when its deserved, and
help offered when needed.
One thing I particularly like about the
university is its diversity in cultures and how
people of different backgrounds blend in to
form one body that is AIMST University. I
was also amazed by the open-mindedness of
staffs to join events and interact with others
which definitely makes being in University so
much more enjoyable. University has a good
reputation in the community so I am proud to
tell people about the AIMST.

The AIMST University is the first university
I have ever studied in. University campus is
really amazing. I have never seen a beautiful
university campus like AIMST. This university
has a wide campus filled with greenery. It is
often referred as a green campus by locals.
I am staying in the university hostel, the more
interesting thing about this campus is that
university offers food (three meals a day) and
laundry services with very affordable price.
There is a big and beautiful sports complex
where students spend their time for playing
and exercising. Like other students, I really
love the AIMST campus.

Before I begin, I want to mention that I am
proud to be a BSc (Hons) Biotechnology
student at the AIMST University. I heartfelt
thank goes to the biotechnology lecturers
those actually taught me the latest trends in
biotechnology. I am enjoying my study and I
adore the way lecturers administer a concept,
interpretation or notion which eventually
leads us to introspection and brainstorming.
As a student who is inquisitive when it
comes to self-directed learning, I did not
find anything difficult while studying for
examinations. I have very good and helping
friends. Library is really wonderful with all the
books what we need; if something is missing,
Wi-Fi helps. All my lecturers are helpful and
their guidance is helping me to mould myself
to have an appropriate scientific attitude that
will aid me in the future. I feel proud to be a
student of the AIMST University.

Why has Malaysia become a preferred education destination?
The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) report on Higher Education in Asia: Expanding Out,
Expanding Up (2014) identified five prominent factors which are influencing students choices to select Malaysia. Five factors are stated
below:
1. Cultural comfort: Malaysia is a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities. UNESCO highlights that Malaysia provides a friendly
environment particularly for Muslim students, whose values and practices are understood, widely shared and respected.
2. Cost: The costs of undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in Malaysia are considered very affordable.
3. Value for money: The UNESCO highlights that the strong quality of Malaysian higher education is perceived as representing value
for money.
4. Language of instruction: Many programmes are taught in English, which is perceived to be a critical language to master in order to
access international employment opportunities; and
5. Quality of life: Malaysia offers a good quality of life and is widely regarded as a comfortable place to live and study.

The AIMST University is just 16 years old; but, it is considered as one of the best universities among
Malaysian universities. The purpose of this pictorial book is to document and highlight the exclusive
infrastructure, the natural beauty, and the uniqueness of the AIMST Universitys campus. The AIMST
University is unique in a sense that it is built on a restored disturbed landscape for a meaningful
purpose. Like other world-class universities, the AIMST University is determined to mould the lives
of the young generation. The most important mission of the AIMST University is to make education
affordable to the Malaysian and International students. Both, needy Malaysian and International
students should take advantage of the affordable medical and non-medical degree programmes
offered by the AIMST University. This book will be helpful to all students, parents, new-staff,
netizens, potential collaborators of the university and readers in better understanding about the
AIMST University and its exclusive infrastructure, facilities, unique architecture and the natural
