About us - Overview
Clean Planet is New Zealands first health-focused and dedicated
environmentally-kinder commercial cleaning company. Our aim is to
create healthier, happier Kiwi workplaces.
Clean Planet was established by a passionate
bunch of Kiwis who recognised the demand
from businesses for healthier and greener
cleaning solutions. They saw that it was
possible to establish a business that was not
only lucrative, but also progressive, ethical and
kinder to both peoples health and the health
of the planet.

What we do?
Were not your average commercial cleaning
company. Clean Planet is proud to be an
innovator, transforming the face of the
industry in New Zealand.
Founded in 2008, we were the first
commercial cleaning company in the

country to focus on eliminating toxic cleaning

chemicals from Kiwi workplaces to help them
reduce their environmental impact.
We also questioned the impact chemicals in
commercial cleaning products were having
on our franchisees and clients health. Often
cleaning products and processes can actually
taint indoor air quality and create allergens
that can harm people. We trailblazed in this
field, becoming the first and only commercial
cleaners to come up with our own locally
formulated and manufactured range of health
focused eco-cleaning products.
Weve also fine tuned all of our cleaning
processes to ensure were ahead of the
game when it comes to improving indoor air
quality in workplaces. This is why were the
first commercial cleaning company to be
approved by the Asthma Foundation in
New Zealand.
Underpinning our ethical approach is a
commitment to quality. Delivering healthier,
environmentally-kinder workplaces for our
clients and a superior quality clean.

In just three years we have grown from
three franchisees to more than 75. We now
operate five Master Regional Franchises
around the country and are looking for more

New Zealands only commercial cleaning
company approved by the Asthma
Foundation (NZ). Clean Planet went
through the Asthma Foundations product
advisory panels rigorous assessment to
achieve Sensitive Choice certification. The
independent panel is made up of an allergist,
GP, industrial chemist, respiratory physician,
pharmacist and a consumer who suffers
from asthma. Both our product formulations
and cleaning systems have been certified
by the Asthma Foundation to ensure they
help to improve workspaces for people who
suffer from asthma, allergies and respiratory
illness and create better air quality for all.

cleaning. We were the countrys first
dedicated environmentally-kinder
commercial cleaner and have been helping
businesses reduce their environmental
impact since 2008.

Superior Environmental-Choice
certification. Many of our products hold
New Zealands highest environmental
endorsement, Environmental Choice
certification (the government-authorized
Eco labelling authority). The New Zealand
standards are superior to Australian standards
(used by many of our competitors).
No toxic chemicals! We refuse to produce
products that contain chemical culprits such
as bleaches, disinfectants, chloride based
cleaners, EDTAs, Dyes and Phosphates. We
significantly limit the use of Volatile Organic
Compounds (VOCs).

your staff. Our commitment to health
creates a safer work environment for all of
our franchisees and their staff. Research
has found that occupational asthma is
most likely to affect professional cleaners
because of their contact with toxic cleaning

We will set a secure agreed income per

$70,000 per annum and go up to as much as
