1. INTRODUCE YOURSELF & FAMILY BACKGROUND // JAWATAN KAT SEKOLAH

- My name is hanis shuhada bt merhalim, Im sweet 18 & Im from mersing
johor. My last school was smk sri mersing & Im from sains tulen class.
- I have two siblings & Im the oldest. My father is a teacher at secondary
school & my mother also a teacher who teach at primary school.
- when I was at school, I was a vice president for ict & multimedia club,
treasurer for history club & also became a facilitator for annual school
camping.
2. WHY YOU CHOOSE MIAT // what is MIAT
- Malaysia institute of aviation technology
- first & for most, I choose MIAT to continue my studies in engineering
technology in avionics maintenance
- MIAT is a place where I know can offer the best environment to study and
can make me to achieve my ambition to be a avionic engineer.
3. YOUR STRENGHT
- my strength is, Im an independent person which is I do not too depents on
others too much. Besides that, I am also can work well in group which is I
love to share my ideas & give my full commitment & cooperation. Lasty, I am
also a person who love to learn new things by doing some reaserch , reading
& asking other people
4. WHERE DO YOU KNOW MIAT
- I know from my father & I do some reaserch on the internet
5. EXPLAIN HOW AEROPLANE CAN FLY
-Airplane wings are shaped to make air move faster over the top of the wing. When air moves
faster, the pressure of the air decreases. So the pressure on the top of the wing is less than the
pressure on the bottom of the wing. The difference in pressure creates a force on the wing that
lifts the wing up into the air.
There are four forces acting on the airplane all the time during airplane is flying. The four forces are
(1) Lift, (2) Gravity force or Weight, (3) Thrust, and (4) Drag.

Lift: is produced by a lower pressure created on the upper surface of an airplane's wings compared to
the pressure on the wing's lower surfaces, causing the wing to be LIFTED upward. The special shape of
the airplane wing (airfoil) is designed so that air flowing over it will have to travel a greater distance and
faster resulting in a lower pressure area (see illustration) thus lifting the wing upward. Lift is that force
which opposes the force of gravity (or weight).

Lift depends upon (1) shape of the airfoil (2) the angle of attack (3) the area of the surface exposed to the
airstream (4) the square of the air speed (5) the air density.

Weight: The weight acts vertically downward from the center of gravity (CG) of the airplane.
Thrust: is defined as the forward direction pushing or pulling force developed by aircraft
engine . This includes reciprocating engines , turbojet engines, turboprop engines.

Drag: is the force which opposes the forward motion of airplane. specifically, drag is a retarding
force acting upon a body in motion through a fluid, parallel to the direction of motion of a body. It
is the friction of the air as it meets and passes over an airplane and its components. Drag is
created by air impact force, skin friction, and displacement of the air.

6. GIVE ME ANOTHER PRINCIPLE OTHER THAN BERNOULLI PRINCIPLE

-PASCALS PRINCIPLE = Pascal's law states that when there is an increase in

pressure at any point in a confined fluid, there is an equal increase at every other point in
the container.

-ARCHIMEDES PRINCIPLE = Archimedes's principle indicates that the upward buoyant

force that is exerted on a body immersed in a fluid, whether fully or partially submerged, is equal to
the weightof the fluid that the body displaces and it acts in the upward direction at the centre of mass
of the displaced fluid. Archimedes' principle is a law of physics fundamental tofluid
mechanics. Archimedes of Syracuse[1] formulated this principle, which bears his name.

7. WHAT IS AVIONICS
- avionics are the electronic systems used on aircraft, artificial satellites, and
spacecraft. Avionic systems include communications, navigation, the display and management
of multiple systems, and the hundreds of systems that are fitted to aircraft to perform individual
functions.

8. WHERE IS APPLICATION IN AVIONICS USED IN AIRCRAFT SYSTEM

- pengertian avionic secara lebih lengkapnya adalah suatu sistem elektronika yang diterapkan
pada pesawat terbang yang berguna untuk menuntun dan memudahkan pekerjaan crew
pesawat selama penerbangan mulai dari tinggal landas (take off), terbang(flight) sampai pada
saat mendarat (landing).
cockpit of an aircraft

9. EXAMPLE OF AVIONICS
1.
2.
3.
4.

Radar
Auto-pilot system
Black box
Weather system

10. WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS COURSE? WHY CHOOSE THIS COURSE
This course is about the way we can maintain the avionic technology and
how we try to solve the problem of the system. Its all about the electronic
system that we used in aircraft start from it take off, flight and landing.
I choose this course because I love physic and I also love the complex things
in the way to understand the avionic technology. I love to challenge myself.

11. LIST DOWN LOGIC GATE & DRAW SYMBOL

12. 3 TYPES OF AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURE & DIFFERENT

Airbus. Airbus is one of the world's leading aircraft manufacturers fulfilling about half or more of the
orders for airliners with more thean 100 seats
Boeing. Boeing is one of the other main aerospace companies and are the largest manufacturer of
commercial jetliners and military aircraft combined. Boeing also design and manufactures rotorcraft,
electronic and defense systems, missiles, satellites, launch vehicles and advanced information and
communication systems
Embraer. Embraer has become one of the main aircraft manufacturers in the world by focusing on
specific market segments with high growth potential in commercial, defense, and executive aviation
