IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY ON CAREERS:

EMPLOYMENT/UNEMPLOYMENT
In Ashtrom technology has an effect on the workers. The effect that
technology has on the workers in Ashtrom is that most of them are being
replaced by computers and machines.
The Advantages that technology has on their careers is that the work is more
precise and takes less time. In economics of computerization of the
workplace is to replace labour with machines, thereby reducing the unit cost
of production while increasing both productivity and efficiency. Instead of
hiring twenty workers to accomplish one task, and employer can simply buy
one machine to do the same task faster and more efficiently; less resources
are invested while more output are generated.
Individuals are finding it hard to maintain their job.

ENVIRONMENTAL
Technology also cut down time and precision. Technology allows the
company to automate manual operations and process information much
faster. Technology helps automate back office functions, such as record
keeping, accounting and payroll. Technology helps organize the work
environment in Ashtrom. Everything from payroll is managed more efficiently
with well-designed software in place. Documents such as letters or
government contract work are easier to write and edit on a computer.
