DAILY LESSON PLAN

.: PREPARED BY:.
NAME: NAJIHA BINTO MOHD SAIMI (AP100042)
PROGRAM: 2SPM
LECTURERS NAME: PN. HASNIZA BINTI IBRAHIM

Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK)

1. Mathematical concept
- Construct statements using the quantifiers all and some
2. Importance of mathematical concepts in real life
- Multi-valued logics that are used in computer science
3. Difficulties and common error
- Students tend to the misconception when they have to construct the all statement because not all statement can be
generalized by using quantifier all. Students have difficulties to generalize statement by using quantifier all that will
be due to the lack of information in the previous topics.
4. Teaching strategies
- Cooperative learning (Students form groups to complete the task given)
- Problem solving ( Students answer all the questions given)
- Active Learning (Students do many activities)
- Critical Thinking (Student know the characteristic of shapes and applied it in the lesson that will be taught)
5. Evaluation Techniques
- Students understanding will be known when they able to answer and complete the task well
- Students summarize the picture with the all and some" statements.

During the afternoon, there should be plenty of activities with students in order to attract their attention and to prevent them from be sleepy
during the teaching and learning session.
During the lesson, most of the students paid attention in class. When I asked some question, some students are very excited to answer those
questions. This is a good response from students because I manage to capture their attention and shows that they understand what have being
taught to them. Most of the students can answered correctly when being asked by me.

EXERCISE:

1. Construct a true statement using the quantifier all or some for following cases.
a) Even numbers are whole numbers.
b) Parallelograms are quadrilaterals.
c) Squares are rhombuses.
d) Prime numbers are divisible by 3.
e) Multiples of 5 are divisible by 10.
f) Triangles have all their angles equal.
178)
2. Determine whether the following statements are true or false.
a) All quadrilaterals which have all equal sides are squares.
b) The diagonals of all rhombuses bisect each other at right angles.
c) All cubes have six identical faces.

d) For all y, 8y-2y=6y

179)
3. Determine whether the following statements can be generalized to cover all cases by using the quantifier all.
a) Positive integer 10 is less than 20.
b) Isosceles triangle ABC has two angles which are equal.
c) Set {1, 3, 5, 9, 11} has 5 elements.
d) Quadratic equation

4 x 7 x +3=0

has two unequal roots.

e) Regular heptagon ABCDEFG has seven equal interior angles.

180)
4. Construct a true statement by using the quantifier all or some on the given objects and their properties below
a) Object: Negative Integer
181)
Property: Less than zero
b) Objective: Multiple of 5
182)
Property: Even Numbers
c) Object: Similar triangles
183)
Property: Congruent

184)
185) REFLEKSI KENDIRI MINGGUAN
186)
1. Kenalpasti masalah pengajaran

mereka tidak dapat mengaitkan all or some statement di sekeliling mereka.
lepas.
