Pointer Device Warnings in Event Logs:

Event ID 263a pointer device has no information about the monitor it is attached
to
Event ID 256a default size is being used for a pointer device to compensate for
the missing physical size information
Event ID 255a pointer device did not report its physical size
Event ID 262a pointer device did not report a valid unit of coordinate
measurement
Event ID 264a multi-touch device reported inconsistent contact information

All the above Warnings appear to relate to the Touch Keyboard and
Handwriting Panel Service
If you stop and disable the service the Warnings should stop. However, the
Service will re-enable itself following a reboot or RDPing to it.
--------------------------------------------A more permanent method of stopping it is to do the following (NOTE the
warning about the effects of doing this which I have included at the end):

Run GPEDIT.MSC
Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and
Taskbar
Double-click on Do not display any custom toolbars in the taskbar setting
Select Enabled then OK.
Run GPUPDATE /FORCE to force the setting to take effect.

This should permanently stop the Event Log Warnings

CAUTION:
This setting affects the taskbar.
The taskbar includes the Start button, buttons for currently running tasks,
custom toolbars, the notification area, and the system clock. Toolbars include
Quick Launch, Address, Links, Desktop, and other custom toolbars created by the
user or by an application.
If this setting is enabled, the taskbar does not display any custom toolbars, and
the user cannot add any custom toolbars to the taskbar. Moreover, the "Toolbars"
menu command and submenu are removed from the context menu. The taskbar
displays only the Start button, taskbar buttons, the notification area, and the
system clock.

If this setting is disabled or is not configured, the taskbar displays all toolbars.
Users can add or remove custom toolbars, and the "Toolbars" command appears
in the context menu.
---------------------------------------------

Another option that is perhaps less problematic would be to disable the service
through the Registry

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND MAKE TRIPLY CERTAIN YOU HAVE SELECTED ONLY
THE NAMED KEY

Run REGEDIT and navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT

Search for "Tablet PC Input Panel" in CLSID

Once found, change the Permissions for the whole relevant CLSID KEY it's in probable location is "{15D633E2-AD00-465b-9EC7-F56B7CDF8E27}".

To do this you must first take ownership of the Key. Right-click the CLSID key
(folder), select Permissions, Advanced, Owner tab, select Administrators, tick
Replace owner on subcontainers and objects, OK.

Now set Deny for all groups and users in the Security section..
