Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is related with the particular operation of organizations that
ensures organizations responsibility to stakeholders. According to Business for Social ResponsibilityOperating a business in a manner that meets or exceeds the ethical, legal, commercial and public e
xpectations that society has of business.
In a nutshell, it can be said that CSR is one solution fits all. It becomes a prime sector for any corporation
to ensure practicing social responsibility effectively. Moreover, proper CSR activities increases goodwill
of a company.

Employees:
According different Sustainability and Annual reports of Coca-Cola Amatil Limited (Coca-Cola Amatil
Limited 2016), CCA confirms safe and environmentally friendly workplace for all of their employees.
They have built Safety First culture that ensures necessary requirements fits for all employees safety.
Furthermore, The Groups Health, Safety & Wellbeing Policy demands all staffs, suppliers, contractors
and visitors to conduct own activities to maximum standards. In 2015, CCA has disclosed some of their
achievements regarding safety through different Safety Programs:

Live Safe Program: Decrease in injury rate up to 50% over 2012 2015 period
Behavioral Safety Program: Trained more than 3,000 leaders and team members to confirm
behavioral safety. CCA has achieved first prize in the TCCC Global Safety Awards for practicing

this program.
Health, Fitness and Wellbeing Programs: Encouraging employees to take pre-emptive advices
for their (employees) health and safety.

Environment:
All employees of CCA are aware of the significance of sound environmental management. They emphasis
on three areas:

Minimizing water and energy use,


Improving recycling rates and reducing litter and
Reducing carbon.

Updated packaging which certifies low consumption rate of raw materials
Efficient use of water sources and the sustainable water supply through updated hydrogeological

According to CCA, they ensure the wellbeing of consumers by providing correct information and
different product lines.

Introducing Coke Life that consists of 35% fewer kilojoules. It is sweetened by stevia instead of

sugar.
Ensuring different types of sizes,
Providing details consumption information about their product. Moreover, educating consumers

Regular surveys: NAB conducts regular surveys that helps to find out the key problems, employees are
facing.

Employee engagement survey: NAB also survey the Employee engagement. Through this they can
evaluate everyones performance and find out their difficulties regarding poor performance.
Intranet: All employees are internally connected with Intranet. Hence, employees can work fast and
easily lonely as well as with a team.
Employee feedback groups: By this group, NAB can easily get feedback from employees about their
actions and decisions. Here, they confirm employee engagement with the management.
Internal social media: Employees are allowed to use internal social media here. It helps to reduce gap
among employees and influence them to know each other.
Customers:
Since late 90s, NAB ensures external stakeholders engagement regarding their performance. Through
Australian External Stakeholder Forum, NAB primarily focuses on consumer problems, social
disadvantage, underprivileged business and environment.
NAB provides all necessary information regarding customer service on their website. Furthermore, they
are providing smartphone application which ensures easy transaction 24/7.
Environment:
Increasing understanding of climate change
NAB has worked with Victorian Department of Sustainability and Environment to research on carbon
risks and opportunities. This research helped to develop awareness about climate change and finding
opportunities to manage environmental risk.
Providing project finance
NAB ensures the project finance customers are well-aware of environmental risks and inspire them to
avoid wide-ranging social and environmental risks. Besides, when customers want to invest on
environment cleaning technologies, NAB supports them effectively.

Community:
Local community investment
NAB identifies the underprivileged firms that need assistance and provide necessary help to them.

They have already connected more than 1200 outlets under their community. They are providing financial
supports and donations to develop these local businesses.
Community sponsorship
NAB supports various communities through sponsoring. They are sponsoring below programs:
Australian Ballet Through this program a children come to know about Australian Ballet.
Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation Via creating awareness campaign NAB helps to increase
funds for this foundation.
