What is Geodynamic?
The study of the physical processes that underlie
tectonic deformation.
Concerned with the movement in the earths crust
and deformation over the scales from meters to
thousands of kilometers.
Examples : mountain building, the formation of
sedimentary basins, plate tectonics, volcanoes,
earthquakes.
