The SPIMD20 is a step forward
in motion control. It offers a
complete motor drive solution in a
single, robust and reliable module,
including full bridge IGBT inverter,
control unit and communication
interface based on real-time
industrial Ethernet.

Motion control evolution


The SPIMD20 is suitable for direct
integration into electric motors. This
approach allows you to create chains
of drives, moving the logic and power
electronics from the classic rack to the
motor.

The module is equipped with basic


firmware, implemented on STM32,
so it may be used in an Ethercat or
CANopen network, with FOC control
of the motor (position, speed and
current).

In addition, the SPIMD20 is fully


customizable both for firmware
(different motion algorithm) and logic
(different Ethernet fieldbus).
