 Many alive today have the general belief that our experience with UFOs began on
June 24th, 1947 when Kenneth A. Arnold, a Minnesota boy, was flying from Chehalis,
WA to Yakima, WA in a CallAir A-2 on a business trip. During the flight he had made
a brief detour in hopes of getting his hands on a $5,000 reward in locating a US
Marine Corps C-46 that had crashed near Mt Rainier. The day was perfect for flying,
clear with light winds – around 3:00 PM he broke off his search and headed east
towards Yakima. It was then that he observe a bright flash, his first thought was
that he was in close proximity of another aircraft – scanning the skies he saw a DC-4
to his left and some 15-miles behind him.
Approximately 30-seconds after seeing the flash he saw a series of bright flashes
in the distance off to his left, north of Mt Rainier, he estimated some 20 or 25 miles
away - after checking to see if they were reflections off his windscreen, after rolling
down his side window, he determined these flashes came from flying objects. They
flew in a long-chain, he also briefly considered they might be a flock of geese, ruling
this out he thought they might be a new type of jet aircraft – but searching for a tail
he found none. Minutes passed as he determined that these craft were very thin
and flat, making them practically invisible – he saw that one of them was crescent
shaped while eight others were more circular – his description resembled saucers
skipping on water.
Earth now entered into the modern UFO age, two years, 1 month and 2 days after
I started my journey on earth, I almost missed it!

Our Planet and its visitors

Since that day 62-years-10 months ago the inhabitants of this Blue Marble have
reported too many to count sighting of strange crafts in our skies, and have
encountered on our surface strange constructions or objects that defy explanation.
For instance, on July 11th, 1991 over Mexico City during a solar eclipse thousands of
citizens captured on their camcorders and still cameras’ what some maintain was
the largest mass UFO sighting in history, and event played back to the world on the
equivalent of “60 minutes” on Mexican national television. This again, is recent
history, what about our planets not-so-recent history – in other words ancient
history. Is it possible that before our current civilization that other visitors dropped
by from time-to-time to check out this budding planet, and what is turning out to be
as screwed up as any found in the Universe – or even the Milky Way Galaxy?
Consider if some advanced civilization is visiting us now, it really might be
plausible they whizzed through our skies and stopped briefly to snatch a few
individuals, check them out and return them to their place – with the person being
none-the-wiser.
The question is, if any of this happened is their evidence under-foot that tells us
intelligence inhabitants today (I write this with tongue in cheek) that events such as
this took place in our ancient world?
I decided that a good place to begin my quest searching for the aliens of old would
be the New Testament of the world’s most published book, the Hebrew copied
history of their existence in the Middle East. In Chapter 5 we learn that God
resolved to destroy Mankind with the Deluge, his goal was to rid the land of the
“sons of the deities”, who had married the daughters of men, a coming together of
the “Nefilim” and the daughters of man, or as the Jews tells us “giants”, whereas
others interpret the Nefilim as those who were cast down. Whereas some events in
the Bible have been supported by recent Archaeological discoveries – such as the
Chinese reporting they have found the mains of the Arc in Turkey. Might it be now
that we accept the Hebrew records that regard the Nefilim as visitors to Earth from
the Heavens?
This same book tells us that “The throne of Yahweh is in heaven,” and “from
heaven did the Lord behold the Earth.” In modern day it is the general belief that
our civilization crawled from beneath the sea in Africa (or close to it), in other words
“Evolution” and “Intelligent Design” has become a dirty word that is whispered in
the alleys and basements around the world. In the good book, (some would really
debate this with me) it says “Let us make Adam in our image and after our
likeness”, and yet one of our great minds today tells us to “beware” of the
supposed aliens, “you might not like what they have to say to you!” The ancients
believed that the “gods” had descended to Earth from the heavens, and who could
“at will” soar with freedom within its confines. All these “tales” have been branded
by some educated individuals as “myths” which came about after man learned how
to tame the grape and enjoy its flavor after letting it sit a bit.
Some believe in the 12th Planet, a concept which I myself find hard to swallow,
even after I read the entire book about 20 years ago – maybe if I were to pick it up
again and slowly walk through the text I might get a better understanding on what
Zecharia Sitchin is telling his reader.
As our civilization begins it travel into space, might it be time those of us stuck here on the Blue Marble
take a serious look at some of the majestic structures here at home, such as the ruins of a great edifice
standing in Baalbeck, Lebanon and the pyramids in Cairo, Egypt – these two structure alone have
remained a mystery in their origination. Myself, I don’t believe that primitive man scratching the sleep
from his eyes as he stumbled from this cave moved 1,100 ton blocks of solid rock by pushing and pulling
them with rope made from whatever, placing them with structural precision allowing not even a knife
blade to slip between their adjacent stones. Besides the three 1,100 ton stones placed in Baalbeck have
withstood time and countless earthquakes, and stare back at you in stone cold silence daring the scholars
to guess at when and who placed them. According to our own, albeit limited and sketchy history, we have
no idea who built the structure in Baalbeck…as for Egypt if you believe that 200,000 men on a make-
work-project spend countless years sliding rocks from quarries in the distance and pushed and pulled
them up ramps made of desert dirt over timber rollers – you’re as crazy as the poor Egyptians selling the
tale to visitors as they wander around the Pyramids’. You ask for proof – put a few pennies aside, hop a
plane (once the volcano in Iceland settles down) and go see for yourself – when you done taking
numerous snaps of the structures and walking down the streets of Lebanon and Egypt, sit down and ask
yourself what happened to these two great civilizations who seemed to have marched backwards in their
move forward today. We might, somewhere, have a machine that can move over a distance of 10-miles a
1,100 ton block of rock (2.2 million pounds) – can you imagine getting up in the morning and having the
straw boss tell the group of their task for the next few days – and that if they get these mammoth stones
in-place ahead of the scheduled time they will get a bonus – what? They ask, “you get to keep your
lives”, walk out of the camp and take them into the hills and point out the stone that the rock cutters have
been working on since their grandfathers were little guys. Come on, suck it up and admit the scenario is
a little far-fetched.

Most of the world reads that Baalbeck was a Roman accomplishment, nuts, they
simply built over what was there – the only thing the Romans were good at was
stealing stuff (like the English) from around their known world and kicking butt up
and down Europe and the Mediterranean, building a few good roads and viaducts –
and slaughtering slaves in their gladiator games. The epic poem of Gilgamesh talks
of Baalbek, whereas his mother (who is reported to be part divine – “godly”) tells
her son that in order for him to become “immortal” he has to travel to Baalbeck and
travel off-world to receive his quest. And if you’re a student of Middle Eastern
history, how do we explain the civilization of Sumer springing up with a language,
albeit cuneiform, one day in the midst of all these
ignorant savages wandering about in the sand dunes.
Seemingly from no-where?
In Niger, Libya, and Algeria and scattered across
other nations surrounding the great Sahara west of
the Nile River, are found numerous rock drawings,
paintings and engravings that demonstrate the
changing culture and climate across the region from
pre-historic epochs. “Petroglyphs”, albeit are found
around the globe, they are very numerous in the
highlands and mountains near Tassili N’Ajjer, in
Southern Algiers is known as the “largest storehouse of rock paintings in the world,
an area that is now a UNESCO World Heritage site and is said to have over 15,000
artistic renditions of the life in the region as far back as 9000 BC, albeit the number
claimed has been challenged it still bears the distinction of many, many cave
drawing. Albeit the Sahara is estimated to have come into existence several million
years ago there was a period that lasted from 9000 to 2500 BC when a great deal of
the Sahara was habitable for humans – whereas the existing plains an dunes in
places were covered in grassland, with herds of ostrich, giraffe, elephants and
various other species. In the highlands and in shallow basins several lakes formed,
which gave life and subsistence to fish, crocodiles and hippopotamus – all these
events and life are depicted amongst the 15,000 paintings. Rock art that shows
large undomesticated animals, such as giant buffalo, along with rhinoceros – some
maintain that the rock art pre-dates the pyramids by thousands of years – myself, I
don’t believe the pyramids were built by the Egyptians and therefore in my
estimation were built some 10,500 years ago – or more. Amongst the rock drawings
are humanoid figures with round heads and have a distinct appearance on aliens –
the accuracy of the other drawings discount the use of a dinner plate in making the
drawings.
During my childhood in SE Alaska in Wrangell I had more than one chance to climb
and play amongst the rock carving on the beach north of town, when I asked the
native elders if they knew anything about the carvings they replied they were there
before the Tlingit’s walked those beaches. I later had a chance to walk the beaches
of another small town on the Prince of Wales Island and found a similar set of rock
carvings…Wrangell is at the mouth of the Stikine River a major source for fish, the
other little town also sits at the mouth of a fairly large stream. The drawings I found
at these two locations, I have since learned are found across the globe at the
mouths of major streams or rivers.
Scholars more versed than I, in this search for ancient beings have found clues all
over the world that point very strongly at ancient cultures we know very little of, in
a great majority of the cases these cultures pre-date what we label our pre-history –
especially in the Middle East and in Africa. There was one such drawing found in a
cave at Kimberly Mountain, a peak on the western side of Australia. Inside the cave
are several painting of several beings, again with round pear shaped heads and
large black eyes – the Aborigines like the Tlingit’s on the Pacific Coast of North
America, know nothing of their origin but consider then extremely sacred and call
them the “Wondjina”. They are estimated to be ten to thirty thousand years old
and bear no resemblance to any human walking the planet today.
In another cave, again in Africa in the Tassili n'Ajjer Mountains,
is found another strange figure painted on the wall – is has been
named “Great Martian God”, because it resembled Martians
found in comic books. It was discovered by the French author
and explorer Henri Lhote, actually the person who brought the
Tassili n’Ajjer paintings to the attention of the world. This
drawing among other similar drawings at the same location
some say depict “spacemen” drawn in a larger scale than the humans next to them.
Must have been a global warming conference or something!
One North American Hopi Petroglyphs called the “Star-Blower”, tells a story of how
the Hopi’s ancestors had visited various worlds and traveled through endless space
before reaching Earth. Although it is said that the Hopi are reluctant to share the
details of the legend, the Petroglyphs show strange (maybe aliens) performing
some sort of ritual.
Other ancient records from around the world give detailed clear accounts of flying
ships, whereas the Mayan, Aztecs, and Incas told the conquistadors of these ships
that transported the white celestial rulers from the East – and on their arrival spread
advanced technology amongst their people. Records composed by the “Vaimanika”
(discovered in 1875, in India) tell us of the size of various flying machines, how they
were steered, and how they were protected against violent storms, and how they
derived their power from the sun during the day, and storing the energy for flying
when there was no sun. The records relate to 70 authorities and 10 experts on
ancient air travel – albeit the experts comprehend the records, none today are able
to identify the metals noted in the texts.
There were four main categories of “flying boats”, that included a Conical gold
craft, a Silver Rocket, a three-story one and the one constructed in a bird shape the
writing identified as a “Sakuna” ship, note was the fact that there were 113
different models of these four-basic airships – each having eight-solar-energy-tubes
for propulsion. The texts describe the pilot training, flight paths, individual parts of
the machines, as well as the types of suits wore by the pilots and the passengers,
descriptions provided even down to the types of food to eat before flying – by the
way sixteen different types of heat resistant metal were named and described.
Other records found, describe mercury powered aircraft, thought to be fantasy until
NASA scientists discovered that mercury is a superior rocket propulsion system.
And from other ancient literature found in Egypt, Central America, Asia, Phoenicia
and Babylon we read how spacecraft traveled to other planets and returned to
Earth, and how they used weapons such as we see in a Star Wars episode, and how
the humans walking the Earth in those days could not damage the craft – think,
when you read the Bible and study the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, to me
(naturally I have a pretty wild imagination) it reads like the nuclear bomb we
dropped on Japan to end the 2nd World War. Yea, Yea I know we didn’t really have
to drop it, but good old Give em’ Hell Harry figured it was a good move.
In the Bible we find Ezekiel describing his vision:
4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a
fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as
the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this
was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a
calf's foot: and they sparkled like the color of burnished brass.
8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they
four had their faces and their wings.
9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they
went every one straight forward.
10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face
of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they
four also had the face of an eagle.
11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of
every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they
went; and they turned not when they went.
13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning
coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the
living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of
lightning.
15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the
living creatures, with his four faces.
16 The appearance of the wheels
and their work was like unto the
color of a beryl: and they four had
one likeness: and their appearance
and their work was as it were a
wheel in the middle of a wheel.
17 When they went, they went
upon their four sides: and they
turned not when they went.
18 As for their rings, they were so
high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them
four.
19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the
living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
Now the preceding in anyone’s book describes, in ancient language, a perfect
flying machine, imagine yourself never having seen a 747 writing about one,
especially as the passengers by the hundreds who are swallowed up and the
thunder of the four mammoth engine when they were fired up, and the mammoth
wheels it took to move the giant across the ground. Getting the idea?
So it appears that man in our ancient history had a run-in or two with flying
machines, whereas some of them even believed there was Interplanetary travel – as
easy as it is today for you to fly from point A to point B. Today, I suppose just like
then, if a person hasn’t seen one or flown in one, and dwell on the fact that maybe
some machines are flying about beyond our capabilities and not of this Earth is very
hard to accept – some even refuse to entertain the idea…so be it! Organized
religion, in whose books we read about some of these machines are the biggest
deniers of this fact, whereas in not-so-old religious books and historical writing they
could get their hands on, they deleted any reference to the fact that the Earth
rotated around the Sun, erasing any maps found of the Solar System and preached
with furor that the Earth was flat - - albeit I believe the society that pushed this
story were the Phoenicians who really didn’t want every Tom, Dick and Joseph
sailing around the Mediterranean taking all their business.

located several hundred miles south of Cairo and the Giza Plateau, at Abydos
As for flying objects throughout history, well the list is endless but here are a few
examples:

1) The Romans saw flying shields,

2) Alexander the Great and his Army was repeatedly harassed by two flying
shields
3) The Persians saw flying carpets
4) The Assyrians saw flying bulls, they were really smoking some good stuff!
5) The Greeks and Arabs saw flying horses
6) Ancient Egypt had their encounters with huge fiery circles
7) The Indians had their Viminas and flying war machines, which were discussed
during their city planning meetings
8) The Chinese (since time began) have had their luminous and fiery dragons
9) In 1000AD, the Mayans called the extraterrestrials, “The Masters of the Stars”
10) On Columbus’ ship the Santa Maria, sailors noted “Glittering thing in the
distance”, but this could have been Venus
11) In old England, (1290) Yorkshire Peasants spotted a silver disc in the heavens
12) In 1561/1566 residents of Nuremberg, Germany and Basel, Switzerland
observed spheres, discs and tubes flying about in their skies overhead
13) 1600, was the Pi Rei Map a product of a flyover
14) 1716, Edmond Halley observed some un-explained aerial displays by odd
objects
15) 1878, a farmer in Dallas, TX saw a large saucer in the sky
16) Nov 17th, 1896, an object described as an “Electric Arc Lamp” was spotted
over Sacramento, CA by hundreds of people. In the following months, strange
 lights in the sky were being reported all across America. Some described as
searchlights, colored lights, balls of lights and light wheels all attached to a
large mysterious dark object that sounded like an airship – Dirigibles where not
invented until 1900 in Germany…only four years later meaning this could have
been an American super secret project from Area 51.
17) And then there is “Tunguska, Siberia” what in the heck was that, some say a
high-speed large asteroid exploding over the site,
18) During WW2, pilots on both sided had reported bright lights in the sky flying
next to them, nicknamed the “Foo Fighters”.
19) In 1947 an alleged UFO slams into the earth in a New Mexico Desert near
Roswell, and today’s modern “UFO-Ology” was given birth.
20) June 24th, 1947 Kenneth Arnold sees a squadron of UFOs flying over Mount
Rainier in WA State, he actually coins the phase “flying saucers”, and the sci-fi
world blossoms.
21) Sept 19th, 1961, the Hills of Portsmith, New Hampshire are the first reported
Alien Abductees
22) July 20th, 1969 Apollo 11 lands on the moon, and earth enters the
extraterrestrial space race
23) March 13th, 1997 – the Phoenix Lights make media headlines

It is not important if you and yours do or do not believe in UFOs and their
associated stories, even if you have not personally experienced an event that could
possibly convince you or their existence, you’d more than likely put it off to dust in
your eyes and cotton stuffed in your ears. This is really not your fault, but a
condition that has been drummed into your beliefs for a long time. Myself, I step
out on the limb here and say: I believe that the time will come when all of the
inhabitants of all worlds or planets in the galaxy and beyond, will regularly visit
each other, using technology far beyond what we can imagine today. They will
conduct trade, exchange ideas and technology, and in doing so respect each other’s
failures and successes. In believing this I believe that eventually the humanity of
Earth will learn to accept each other, albeit today this hardly seems possible.
As for a visitor stopping by and making their presence known today, what would
these beings find but a mixed up world on the brink of trashing itself. If it was you
out there observing the events, where would you land? Pick a place that wouldn’t
immediately try to destroy you, of if not to destroy you claim the rights to your
technology and use it to destroy or bend the wishes of their neighbor.
I think I’d stay away and watch and see if the inhabitants of this lonely planet
spinning its way through the cosmos can get their act together and live in harmony.
