FRIENDLY VISITOR
Each Friendly Visitor volunteer is matched with an elderly client
within Montgomery County who is isolated and lonely.
Volunteers visit their friend once a week to exchange stories, play
board games, read, watch the news or discuss current events.
REPRESENTATIVE PAYEE
Representative Payee volunteers assist low-income, disabled
Montgomery County residents manage their government
benefits.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY HOTLINE
Volunteers serve as call counselors with HOPES-our 24-hour, 7 day-a-week
confidential service. HOPES consists of 4 hotlines and is staffed primarily by
volunteers who provide supportive and confidential listening; crisis precention
and intervention; and give information, referrals and resources.
LINKAGES TO LEARNING
Volunteers with the Linkages to Learning program support homework clubs,
ESOL classes and other afterschool activities. We are looking for Homework
Helpers, Childcare Providers or those who can provide general program support!
