Sub: Revised quotation for construction of proposed residence at 33 Sukhchain Marg, DLF
Phase-1, Gurgaon.

Dear Sir,

This is in reference to the meeting held with you on 26.04.2010 regarding the above cited subject; we are
hereby giving our revised rates on Sq. Ft. basis for the above mention residential house for Civil &
Structural works as discussed in the meeting. Our revised rates are based on assumption that the structure
will be a framed structure with safety for earthquake including brick work, internal and external plaster.
We shall be charging Rs. 730/- (Rupees Seven hundred thirty only) per sq. ft. for Basement, Ground,
First, Second and Terrace Floor on the specifications and items to be executed as mention below. Basic
rate of Cement shall be considered as Rs 230/- and Reinforcement Steel shall be Rs 35/ per Kg. As per
requirement of design, reinforcement steel shall be limited to 3.5 kg/sft of built area. The actual
reinforcement consumption shall be as per the structural drawing. Any variation (+ve or -ve) in actual
consumption of reinforcement shall be adjusted in payments considering difference in unit consumption

‘A’ Earth Work

1. Earth work in excavation over areas (exceeding 30cm in depth 1.5m in width as 10.0sqm on
plan) including disposal of excavated earth lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m disposed earth
to be leveled and neatly dressed. (All kinds of soil)

2. Filling available excavated earth trenches, plinth sides of foundation etc. in layers not
exceeding 20cm in depth consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering lead
up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m.

‘B’ Concrete Work

3. Providing and laying cement concrete in footing and bases for columns including the cost of
centering and shuttering 1:5:10 (1cement: 5coarse sand: 10graded stone aggregate 40mm
nominal size).

4. Providing and laying damp-proof course 40mm thick with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1cement :
2coarse sand : 4graded stone aggregate 12.5mm nominal size) with con-plast water proofing
compounding to be mixed with cement.

5. Providing and filling cellular broken blocks in sunken floors (toilet and kitchens only)
includes light ramming and wire mesh of 6mm thick 5” c/c with concrete of 1:2:4 to be put
on top.

‘C’ Reinforced Cement Concrete Work

6. R.C.C. frame work with 9” thick brick work on external face of the building.

7. Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete work in slabs, columns, pillars, piers,
abutments, posts, retaining wall and struts etc. including the cost of centering, shuttering,
finishing and reinforcement 1:1.5:3 (1cement : 1.5coarse sand : 3graded stone aggregate
20mm nominal size). (Concrete grade M-20 used shall be RMC for roof casting only or
mixed at site with the proper concrete mixture).Roof casting to be taken from the company
premixed or at site to be cleared

8. Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete work in stair cases(excluding landing) this should
be including spiral staircases preparing of the top surface and finishing nosing including the cost
of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement.

9. Providing and laying reinforcement for RCC work including straightening, cutting, bending,
placing in position and binding all complete. (Cold twisted bars)

10. Providing and fixing centering and shuttering including strutting propping etc. and removal
of form work for foundation, footing, columns, retaining walls, pillars, posts, struts and
stairs etc.

11. Basement will have external wall of 6” thick RCC wall.

‘D’ Brick Work
12. Providing brick work with brick of class designation of 75 in foundation and plinth in
cement mortar 1:6 (1cement : 6coarse sand).

13. Providing brick work in superstructure with brick of class designation 75 in cement mortar
1:6 (1cement : 6coarse sand).

14. Providing half brick masonry work with bricks of class designation 75 with reinforcement of
2 nos 6mm dia MS bars at every third course in superstructure in cement mortar 1:4
(1cement : 4coarse sand).

15. Brick work 7cm thick with bricks of class designation 75 in cement mortar 1:3 (1cement :
3coarse sand).

‘E’ Finishing
16. 8mm-12 mm internal cement plaster on roof of mix 1:4 (1cement: 4 coarse sand) and 12-15
mm internal cement plaster on brick work with 1:6 (1cement: 6 coarse sand).

17. 18 mm cement plaster on external face of the building.

18. Brick coba at terrace and chemical waterproofing in the toilets.
‘F’ Method of Measurement

19. R.C.C. slab area shall be measured as covered area and no ded uction shall be made for any
cut out. The cut outs to be deducted

‘G’ Stages of payment

20. Stages of payment as per Annexure I enclosed.

Our above quoted rate does not include the following:-

1. Electrical Work.
2. Sanitary / Plumbing Work.
3. Flooring/cladding, stone work and tile work.
4. Wood work for door and window frames and shutters.
5. Internal and external painting.
6. Grill, railing for staircases and balconies.
7. Boundary wall, land scaping.
8. External Electrification.
9. Any kind of Architrave and sloping roof etc..
10. Earth brought from outside for filling.
11. Under ground & over head tank.
12. Anti-termite treatment
13. Water proofing
TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. 10% (Ten percent) of total value of the contract shall be paid to us as interest free Mobilisation
Advance before commencement of work which shall be recovered from our running bills starting
from 3rd running bill on pro-rata basis.this point needs clarification
2. 85% (One Hundred percent) advance against material brought at site shall be paid to us. this is too high
3. Running / Final bill shall be paid to us within Seven days from the date of submission of the bill.
4. Water and electricity shall be supplied to us at one point free of cost at site of wo rk
5. The Works Contract Tax shall be paid by the client, which shall not be deducted from our bill,
Service tax & Labour cess shall be paid extra by the client as per rule .
6. In case of any increase or decrease in sales tax or any other taxes the same shall b e paid as per actual.
7. Proper place for labour hutments, site office and store shall be given at site of work.
8. The contractor will keep one professional competent civil engineer till the time project is completed.

11 rest of the things as spoken to you yesterday to be mentioned compliance of labour law,any accident
on the site,insurance etc or any other which is not mentioned to be incorporated.
