Scope and Objectives of the Course

The course will provide an over view of the study of fourier series,
laplace transforms, functions of complex variables and differential
equations with their application in various fields of engineering.

To prepare an engineer to analyze and correlate many real life

problems mathematically and thus find the appropriate solution for
them.

To acquaint them with many challenging problems which will develop

the problem solving ability and enhance the required thinking of an
engineer which will satisfy industry need.

are compulsory and the third one is the non-mandatory make up / mercy
test. The average of best two is considered.
** The End Term Comprehensive examination will be held at the end of
semester. The mandatory requirement of 75% attendance in all theory
classes is to be met for being eligible to appear in this component.
