This project is mainly for the replatforming of the current existing system which is running In MySQL DB to
a new cloud solution technology called Hadoop which can able to process large date sets (i.e. Tera bytes
and Peta bytes of data) in order to meet the client requirements with the increasing data volume from
other departments. The solution is based on the open source Big Data s/w Hadoop .The data will be
stored in Hadoop file system and processed using Map/Reduce jobs. Which intern includes getting the
word,excel,ppt and PDF data from the client team, Process the data to obtain respective department
related information meaning full information with respect to their domains, Extract various reports out of
the processed information and Export the information for further processing.
Roles &Responsibilities:

Moved all data flat files generated from various retailers to HDFS for further processing.

The Clearing house handles all the events involving the processing of cheques Or Instrument. When a
bank customer gets cheques as a payment he deposits the cheques in his Bank account for clearance.
Each bank in turn gives the information to the clearing house. It will be a summary of records pertaining
to the various cheques (payable by different banks) deposited by its customers with the bank for
collection. The clearing house will sort the given data with respect to each bank and sends records to
those banks for confirmation of payment.

System is expected to exchange information with these remaining applications via available standard
interfaces or new interfaces to be developed for that purpose.

My role was that of the trainee developer and I was supposed to make this system in java.

I have developed both front end and backend of the application. Develop various middleware,
web and systems applications.
