To provide an overview of Materials Management (MM) module which is
integrated with the other modules of the SAP System with greater visibilities
of the Purchasing and Inventory management.

The Materials Management (MM) module is fully integrated with the other
modules of the SAP System. It supports all the phases of materials
management: materials planning and control, purchasing, goods receiving,
inventory management, and invoice verification
What is a Material Master?

The Material Master is more than a single file for each material, it is where
all information on a material is entered and accessed from. It is used
throughout the SAP system.

Follow the same steps to select views and organization level to display the
material.
Material Master Extension

Once the material is created for the Plant & storage location then we
can extend for the other Plant/storage location/Valuation Type
through T-code MM01.
To extend the material only for storage locations enter T-code MMSC
Valuation type used in GED

o DAMAGED
o SALVAGED
o SCRAP

Once the PR has been created from PS or PM we can initiate the service
procurement.
User will perform this activity only after actual service is performed.

This option has been provided if your purchase order has been created and service
entry sheet (SES) is not created or if you want to decrease quantity in SES then
please follow below steps to complete the process of posting service cost

This approval process is only at one level, approver will just set the indicator
for Goods Movement allowed through MBVR so that goods issue can be
posted with respect to this reservation.
