Security Level

How to do Lollipop Upgrade?

Lollypop version is available for your device .You has to follow the upgrade guideline.
You can upgrade version on top of following version:
CHM-U01 V100R001C636B070
CHM-U01 V100R001C636B063

What will happen to user data after upgrade?

No need to worry about losing personal data such as contacts, media files, and logged
accounts etc .All user data will be retained after upgrade if you wont do factory reset.
But, We strongly recommend you to do factory reset after upgrading .You can take back
up for all your personal data using Backup Application ,Go to Tools>Backup
Lollipop version is taking more user space than Kitkat
As its a upgrade of OS from KK to L, its obvious that upgraded version will take more
space because of below reasons:
APK size has been increased in L version.
Design to handle Odex in L has been changed compared to KK. Current design
in L they are taking space from Internal Storage.
We recommend all users to move data and APKS in internal storage to external SDcard
before upgrade to avoid upgrade failure.

If user doesnt want new version, how to roll back?

If user does not want to use Lollipop version and want to roll back to Kitkat version,
then follow the Rollback guideline.
You can roll back to following version:
CHM-U01 V100R001C636B070
CHM-U01 V100R001C636B063
Rollback will erase your data. We recommended you to take backup before upgrade.
How to recover if upgrade fails?

If upgrade fails or the device is not rebooting follow the instructions below.
Press and hold the VOLUME UP key and then the POWER key to enter the
recovery mode and do hard factory reset. (This will delete all user data from
device)
Even if the problem exists, Please contact near by service centre

How to enable OTG ?

OTG support is disabled by default in L version. If you need to use OTG, Go to
settings-->Smart assistance-->More-->OTG --> On

Hidden apps on the home screen

Some apps are private and must be kept secret from others. If they are directly
displayed on the home screen, they can be easily found by anyone who borrows the
phone. If the apps are hidden on page 2 of a folder, it may take longer time to start
them.
Slide upward with two fingers on any page of the home page, to display hidden apps

User can disable badges for particular app icon
