A client visited Pure Herbal Ayurved Clinic to

address their 10 years chronic Psoriasis problem.


After a detailed assessment of the case following
treatment plan was tailored for the client:
Panchakarma Detox was performed for
complete purification of the body and to
eliminate toxins from every single cell of the
body.
Ayurvedic Herbs like-Bakuchi (Psoralea
corylifolia),Mulethi (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Giloy
(Tinosporacordifolia), Neem (Azadirachta indica),
Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia) were given via
veggie capsules, keeping the clients
ayurvedic body-type along with the
imbalanced dosha in mind.
Life style modification and diet adjustment

Specific yoga and breathing exercises were

Understanding Psoriasis
The term psoriasis is derived from the Ancient term
Psora and Iasis. Psora indicates itchiness or
scale and lasis indicates situation.

Psoriasis is an inflamation related problem that


affects your epidermis layer of the skin and nails. It
is marked by patches of thick, red skin covered
with silvery scales that occur primarily on the
arms, knees, back and head. Although not lifethreatening, it can be agonizing and causse
psychological problems like stress and depression.
Psoriasis develops when the defence mechanisms
mistakes your epidermis layer tissues as a virus,
and sends out defective alerts that speed up the
growth cycle of skin tissues.
Causes of Psoriasis According To Ayurveda
Ayurvedic scholar Charak has described the
involvement of vata and kapha doshas in psoriasis.
Accumulation of toxins or ama could also lead to
this situation.
Following are main cause of skin disease like
psoriasis:
Opposite nature diet program or contrary
foods and improper diet according to own
body-type.
Excessive intake of yogurt, seafood, high
sodium meals, spicy meals, fermented meals,
and bakery products, refrigeration and cool
meals may perform a part to psoriasis.
An irregular and unhealthy lifestyle interrupts
