SBI PO Exam 2016 Syllabus: State Bank of India is an Indian multinational, Public Sector banking and
nancial services company, headquarter located in Mumbai. It conducts several exams every year for ful lling
its sta requirements.State Bank of India (SBI) has announced a noti cation for the recruitment of

Probationary O cer (PO) vacancies in State Bank of India.This bank will conduct SBI PO Exam 2016 for
selecting eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Probationary O cer (PO).The candidates who
have registered for this examination, those should start their preparation.In this article we are providing
complete information details regarding syllabus of SBI Probationary O cer (PO) Preliminary & Main Exam
2016.

SBI PO Rexruitment 2016 Apply Online 2200 Vacancy

As per o cial notice, Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted
online. This test would be of 1 hour duration consisting of 3 Sections English Language, Quantitative
Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and
Descriptive Test for 50 marks.The Objective Test of 2 hour duration consists of 4 Sections with 50 marks each,
Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Analysis, General Awareness, Marketing, Computers and English

SBI PO Preliminary & Main Exam Pattern 2016

SBI PO Exam 2016 Syllabus Details:

SBI PO Reasoning Syllabus : In this section questions will be asked from Verbal reasoning & Non Verbal
Reasoning.Reasoning section have important role in both pre and main examination.The question are asked
from the topics Analogy, Coding & decoding, Blood relations, Sitting arrangements, Series completion,
Syllogisms, Decision making, Statement reasoning, Series completion, Classi cation.
SBI PO General English Syllabus : In this section questions will be asked from Vocabulary, synonyms,
Antonyms, Idioms, Phrases, Word formation, Sentence completion, Comprehension, Deriving conclusions,
Passage completion, Error detection, Passage correction, Sentence correction etc.Important areas are
Reading comprehension, Vocabulary, Grammar Corrections, Identi cation of Errors in sentence constructions,
Jumbled sentences etc.
SBI PO Quantitative Aptitude Syllabus : In this section questions will be asked from Number system,
Simpli cations, Roots & Averages, Surds & Indices, Percentages, Pro t&Loss, Ratio& Proportion, Partner ship,
Time & work, Pipes & Cisterns, Time & Distances, Problems on trains, Boats & streams, Allegation & mixtures,
Simple, Interest, Compound interest, Volume& surface area, Mensuration etc.
SBI PO Data Interpretation and Analysis Syllabus: In this section question will be asked from Data
Interpretation and manipulation questions from Charts, Graphs and Diagrams including Line charts, pie
charts, bar charts and tabular data. Application level questions from probability and statistics.Data
Interpretation and Analysis is easy section. The candidates can score good marks in this section with some
hard work.
SBI PO Descriptive Paper Syllabus:In this section, expect questions relating to Letter writing (Usually
o cial letters in connection with the normal functioning of a bank branch), Essay and Paragraph writing
(Usually related to bank functioning and economy), Precis writing and Reading comprehension.

may not clear exams even if your English is good but if your English is not good you wont clear PO exam for

that main will be of 2 hours n each section of 50 marks n other web site that it will be of 3 hour ..n each

pre-100 mark ka paper hoga and 100 questions aayege . time duration 1 hour rhega.mains-part 1st objective
test 200 mark ka hoga.200 questions aayege.time duration 2 hour.part 2nd descriptive test 5o mark ka
hoga.time duration 1 hour hoga.so total mains ka exam 250 mark ka hoga.time duration 3 hour.

Hi friends.. The prelims will be conducted on 2,3,9,10.. We will allocated any one of the dates.. So, only 1
prelims and if we clear it, we will be quali ed for Main exams which contain descriptive paper too.. For

prelims, its only 100 marks for 1 hour.. And for mains, 200 marks in 2 hr..
