AGREEMENT EXECUTED AT THE TIME OF DRAWING ADVANCE

TO MEET THE MARRIAGE EXPENSES OF THE DAUGHTERS OF

CLASS IV EMPLOYEES

An agreement made this the ……………. day of …………… Two

……………………………………………………………. (hereinafter called the
borrower which expression shall include his/her heirs administrators, executors,
legal representatives and assignees) of the one part and the Governor of Kerala
(hereinafter called the Government) on the other part.

Whereas the Borrower has under the provisions of the Kerala Financial
code (hereinafter referred to as the said code which expression shall include any
amendment thereof or additions thereto for the time being in force) applied to the
Government for a loan of Rs…………… (Rupees
………………………………………..only) to meet the marriage expenses of
his/her female child on the terms and conditions hereinafter contained.

AND WHEREAS the application of the Borrower for the said loan is
being considered by the Government.

Now it is hereby agreed between the parties hereto that in consideration

of the sum of Rs. ……………. (Rupees ………………………………. only) to be
paid by the Government to the Borrower if and when the Government sanction
the said loan to the borrower hereby agree.

1. To pay the Government the said amount with interest calculated

according to the said code by monthly deduction from his/her salary as provided
for by the said code and thereby authorises the Government to make such
deductions.

2. To pay to Government the balance of the said advance with interest if

remaining unpaid at the time of his/her retirement or death preceding retirement
from the whole or any specified part of the DCRG that may be admissible.

3. The Head of the Department should obtain the marriage certificate

within one month from the date of marriage.

And it is hereby agreed and declared that if the marriage has not been
materialised or if the Borrower within that period becomes insolvent or equit the
service of the Government or dies the whole amount of the loan and interest
occurred thereon shall immediately become due and payable and may be
recovered from the Borrower under the provisions of the Revenue Recovery Act
for the time being in force as if they were arrears of land revenue or in such other
manner as the Government may deem fit.
