Dream five.

Unrest.

The next dream followed that night. Again, I saw

everything from the point of view of the same
person’s life. I was again watching the world from
news reports and internet stories. I was sitting in
Washington State, USA, but also in the new North
American Trade Federation. This federation
included all of North America down to Panama, as
well as the Caribbean Islands. It was a loose
federation, with the government in Washington
D.C. A new “King” was crowned and the president
of the US reported to him, along with the PM of
Canada, etc.

The unrest started with the religious, they

resented being forced to accept the new religion
that they said was just a “pack of lies”. Regular
protests and rallies were suppressed violently and
leaders were portrayed as terrorists. The courts
were jammed with lawsuits about property rights,
and religious freedom, but it no longer existed.
Leaders and demonstrators were tried and sent of
to concentration camps to be “reeducated”. The
crackdown on crime and the electronic snooping of
the new secret police caused free people fear
saying anything bad about the new leader.
Freedom of speech vanished like in the old Nazi
and Communist regimes.
The media was controlled and protests on the
internet were squelched by electronic warfare
techniques: blocking websites; tapping into email,
messaging, and social networks; removing internet

privileges, and identifying and rounding up

complainers. Free exchange of ideas on the
internet could cause a person to disappear.
Electronic surveillance and tracking peoples’
movements with GPS kept tabs on everybody. And
since this was world wide the only places to flee
to were primitive areas that had not implemented
the latest equipment. If you could get there
without being stopped, you were lucky. The old
movie “1984” was a vision of these times.

There was a bunch of Christians, who believed the

Bible, spreading their beliefs under the radar.
Evangelists seemed to appear, say their message,
and then disappear before the police arrived. The
believers held meetings in homes and were
secretive about who was there. Miracles, healings,
and powerful love messages were rumored. It was
like the stories of Christians in Communist Russia
or China during the Cold War. When one of these
meetings was discovered the media called these
people terrorists and they were never seen again.
But there were thousands of these evangelists
spreading this Christianity everywhere and the
leader, kings, and local police seemed totally inept
at stopping them.

A new high priest was appointed to turn the

dissident unbelievers to the new faith. This man
could do spectacular miracles and the media
showed this to everybody. He told everyone to
worship the leader as a god. Some did.
The new high priest plundered the remnants of the
Catholic Church. The Vatican was spoiled and the
loot taken to the new churchs. Then the Vatican
and the entire city of Rome were burned. There

was a new Nero in power.

The new religion was not tolerant with those who
made fun of it. A robot statue of the leader was put
in his temple and it seemed alive. The things that
they could do with robotics were spectacular. It
only fooled the ignorant.

There was an assassin who tried to bomb the

leader. The leader was seriously hurt and some
said he died. But he rallied. He lost an eye and the
use of one of his arms, but he seemed back and
ready to kill everyone who conspired in this plot.
He looked like fearless leader from the Bowinkle
and Rocky cartoons of the sixties, but he was as
ferocious as Adolf Hitler was after he was bombed.
The high priest proclaimed this a miracle and that
the leader had resurrected like Jesus Christ. This
proved that the leader was divine.

This worship of the leader and persecution of

unbelievers was world wide. The smart people saw
the stupidity but kept their mouths shut. Many
ignorant people believed and joined mobs that beat
up anyone who said anything bad about the new
religion. It was like Moslem countries persecuting
Christians before the war. A rumor could get you
killed.

I felt like I was in a new Communist world that

wanted me to do what it wanted and believe that
pack of lies about the leader being a god. I wished
that I had died during the war. The troubles of the
dead were over, I thought.

I was glad to wake up. This dream was getting

personal and I was scared. I wrote down what I
