Hickory Ridge Landfill

In Conley, Georgia, a small town outside of
Atlanta, landfill gas is being used to help provide
electricity, steam and chilled water to the adjacent
Coca-Cola Syrup Plant. ABUTECs siloxane flare
is an integral part of this waste to energy project.
Siloxanes removed from biogas during the waste
to energy process cannot be vented into the
atmosphere and must be combusted. ABUTECs
HTF flare allows seamless combustion with a 99.9
percent DRE. Not only is ABUTECs HTF flare an
industry leader in technology, but the flare also has
a natural draft, requires no assist blowers, regulates
its own temperature and produces no radiation heat,
resulting in a small carbon footprint. Additionally,
ABUTEC has made available a standard siloxane flare
design that is field tested in dozens of locations across
