Cabinet configurations

This section lists the following units for the different Nokia UltraSite EDGE BTS
cabinet configurations:
common units
indoor and outdoor cabinet units
midi indoor and outdoor cabinet units
triple-mode cabinet units
Common units

All Nokia UltraSite EDGE BTS cabinet configurations contain the following
common units:
Base Operations and Interfaces unit
Up to four Transmission units
One or two AC or three DC power supply units
AC filter unit (if AC Power Supply unit, or heater is used)
Unit cooling fans (included in cabinet core mechanics)
Cabinet cooling fan (included in outdoor cabinet only)
Cabinet heating unit (optional; used in outdoor cabinet only)
One or two Internal feeder kits
Indoor and outdoor cabinet units

The 12-TRX Nokia UltraSite EDGE BTS Indoor and Outdoor use the same
cabinet core mechanics. The main difference between the cabinets is the
external
application kit.

In addition to the common units, the Nokia UltraSite EDGE BTS Indoor or
Outdoor cabinet configuration contains:
Up to 12 GSM/EDGE TRX RF units
Up to six TRX Baseband units
Remote Tune or Wideband Combiner units (optional)
Receiver Multicoupler units
Dual Duplex units (not used with RTC)
Dual Band Diplex units (optional)
Integrated WCDMA (optional)
Midi indoor and outdoor cabinet units

The mechanics of the Midi Indoor and Outdoor cabinets are similar to the
Indoor
and Outdoor cabinets. The main difference is the size of the cabinet. The Midi
Indoor and Outdoor cabinets can only house six TRXs.
In addition to the common units, the Nokia UltraSite EDGE BTS Midi Indoor or
Outdoor cabinet configuration contains:
