Synth Universe Vol. 1: Magical Pads

Synth Universe offers an universe of synthesizer sounds.
Several volumes will include all important synth-categories time after time.
This first volume Magical Pads provides mainly warm, analog and atmospheric synthpads,
but also sweeps, swells, synthbrass, and Atmo/FX-sounds.
You will find countless synthpads in several Synth- and Sample-Libraries with all kind of
variations, sometimes using more motion than you need.
But you have to search for al long time to find analog pads with such gentle, wide, fat and
spacious character like the pads of this volume.
Main emphasis is musical usability, not spectacular effcets.
In most cases pads can be controlled with modulation wheel from bright to dark or the
other way round.
The character of the synthpads is influenced from vintage synths Jupiter-8, Oberheim
Xpander or Polysix as well as virtual analogsynths like Nordlead or Virus.
Opposite to many other sample-based synthbanks you will not find completely sampled
presets of popular synths.
Instead there are fat, stacked raw waveforms compareable with synthwaves of
Hardwaresynths or Workstations, which are a great base for making new synthsounds
using the soundengine of the MOTIF ES.
The samples of this set include all samples of the product Synth Universe - Volume 1:
Analog Pads and Atmospheres for EXS24 / Kontakt 2.
Additional this set includes new FX/Atmo Waveforms 16 27 (see Overview Waveforms).

The Motif ES Set Magical Pads includes

128 new User-Voices

128 Voices Best Motif Pads a collection of best Factory Presets of MOTIF ES,
MOTIF-RACK ES and MO6
64 MB new Synth Waveforms (27 complexe Synthwaves).

For loading samples Installation of optional DIMMs (2 x 64 MB or more) is needed.

But you can load alternate version without samples, if you have not DIMMs installed.

Loading Motif ES files

In folder MOTIF_ES you find following MOTIF ES-Files:
PADS_ES.W7A (ALL-File)
PADS_ES.W8A
PADS_MO.W8V (AllVoice-File)
PADS_MO.W7V
If you received set with download or CD-ROM you have to copy this files to Smart Media
Card (size at least 128 MB) or USB-device before loading to MOTIF ES.
If you have connected USB CD-ROM drive to MOTIF ES you can load files directly from
CD-ROM.
With loading ALL-file all user data of Motif ES will be overwritten (User Voices,
Performances, Master, User Arpeggios, Songs, Pattern, Waveforms, Utility-Settings).
Please save your data before loading files.
You can recall Factory Voices with Factory Set (UTILITY JOB).
You can load single voices using File-Type Voice.
Here you find a short description of above listed files:

PADS_ES
This is the Full Version of the set. Here you find new User Voices, Waveforms and
Samples. It must be loaded with file type All.
Installation of optional DIMMs (2 x 64 MB or more) is needed.
For loading from Smart Media Card size of 128 MB at least is needed.
PADS_MO
This version includes new Voices without samples.
It is compatible with MO6 / 7 / 8, S90 ES, MOTIF-RACK ES versions.
The set includes 128 User Voices and must beloaded with file-Type AllVoice.
DIMMs are not needed.
New Voices will be loaded always to Voice Bank USER1.
Voice Bank USER2 includes a collection of best Factory Presets of MOTIF ES, MOTIFRACK ES and MO6

Additional Audio Loops

On our website www.easysounds.de you find the demosong Magical Groove for this
product. It includes 9 Drum- und Synthloops extracted from EASY SOUNDS CD-ROMs
Quick Phrase and Mega Arpeggio.
This Loops are shipped with this product in WAV-Format (see folder Magical Groove
Loops 130BPM). You can use them for your productions without paying additional licenses.
If you want to combine pads, atmospheres and loops in the style of the demsong, you can
use the loops for starting.
WAV-Loops of CD-ROMs Quick Phrase and Mega Arpeggio are basically also intersting
for Motif-User.
Combining Motif-Sounds with WAV-loops works best, if you load WAV-loops into external
sequencer (Logic, Cubase, Ableton Live,...). There you can arrange Motif-Sounds with
MIDI-Tracks and WAV-loops with Audio-tracks.
Of course you can import loops also directly to Motif (FILE LOAD Type Waveform). This
is especially interesting, if you use the internal sequenzer of Motif. For better overview in
this case it is recommended to rename WAV-Files for import (shortened file-names)
because Motif-files are limited to 8 character.
