Estimate made easy

Preparing estimate for large building is a tedious job and it
takes lots of time in working out details measurement and finally
getting estimate. My little endeavor is to cut this time to very less (say
one tenth) so that one can easily even check as well as reframe
estimate if some items changed at advanced stage. This will be a
Handy tool for Civil Engineer using DSR 2007.
These programs also have fair degree of accuracy so the basic
problem of Deviation during execution as well as Extra item also
minimized. And thus in fructuous work load of offices can be cut
down.
Normally one working day is suffice to prepare any estimate
of large building.
This Software Consist of Five excel files
Data2007.xls,
inter_floor1.xls,
inter_floor3.xls, inter_floor4.xls

inter_floor2.xls,

Module used in Programming:

1. DATA2002: Enter data in blue cell only. Calculates for Ground
Floor and Roof of Building.
A. Main : Enter/Select data for basic item selected if it is to
be used else make it blank by deleting this. Never use cut
command.
B. data : First of All Change Sizes of door, window,
ventilator as per Architectural Drawing. Then change Sizes of
Column, Beams , Footing, if required for your project as
these values will be used in further calculations and the same
will be available in all stage after where it will required.
C: DW: Enter DSR Code of Door n Windows frame, shutter
accordingly
D: Misc: Miscellaneous data which are in Nos like WC Pan,
Basin, Towel Rail, GI Pipes etc. which have no links with
measurment or which are not considered in main item, to be
entered along with DSR Code, quantity in this sheet.
E: Non Schedule Item: You Can also enter Non Schedule
item in Sub Head 24.0 and quantity in Misc Worksheet
F: final estimate: This sheet will give you final result. So no
change required in this sheet.

2. Inter_floor-1: Enter data in blue cell only. Calculates for first

Intermediate slab, BW, DW and related

items of floor.
A. Plan: enter N if some floor is not required at this level
else leave it blank. Change code of Flooring, Location of
Wall whether External or internal , Type of wall whether F,
H, P for Full, Half, Plaster accordingly.
B: Door window : : Enter DSR Code of Door n Windows
frame, shutter accordingly.
If same data to be used for second floor n third Floor then
click on Button provided for this else enter or edit data now
in inter floor2.xls and inter_floor3.xls files.
3. After completing all these steps come back to sheet2 of
data2002 there is three links

a. Assign Sl. No. Click to assign sl. No. for which quantity is
more than zero on page DSR.

Prepare estimate : Click to prepare final estimate. Click

delete old sheet when asked.

c.

Print Technical Sanction : click to print final TS in Proper

format..
