Reading MCQ Single Answer and Multiple Answer

Tips:

Read the instruction, passage and question CAREFULLY

Think of an answer before looking at all options

Before answering, read all options

If youre unsure, try to eliminate as much as unappropriated options

If youre unsure, DO NOT keep changing your answer

If making decision takes long time, make an educated guess

Change your answer ONLY IF you have a good reason.

If youre unsure, due to saving time, make an educated guess

There may be grammatical clues.

When you have two possible answers, re-read the passage

Look for key words from the question and match them with passage
(Just for single answer)

Max time: NOT MORE THAN 1.5 minutes for each question and 7
minutes for all of them

Strategies:

Read the question first and quickly go through the options given

Just get a sense of what is being asked

Read the passage with the intention of understanding (DO NOT think
about the question)

Get back to the question and eliminate all the incorrect responses,
picking the correct answer

Scoring:

+1 for any correct answer
