Week 1
rr Take Practice Test 1 (page 475). Keep the results of the test in mind as you go through the next

week, and slow down your review when you hit a section where you struggled. Also keep in mind
that whenever you take a practice test, you should mimic the actual test-taking experience as much as
possiblethat is, stick to time limits, dont take breaks to text or go on Facebook, and dont get up in
the middle of a section to get a snack.

Note!
You should avoid taking a practice test right before you take the actual SAT. The final days leading up to the
exam should be as restful as possible so you dont burn yourself out. Remember, rest is an important part of
studying, too: It gives your mind an opportunity to process all youve learned.
