COMPANY PROFILE

The Story of Us
2012 - 2013

Lentera Angin Nusantara is a group of students and alumni who developing micro wind
turbine (The Sky Dancer) system which has high technology and efficiency for wind
condition in Indonesia and Asia Pacific area
areas.
The Sky Dancer can obtain high output power with low cost of installation. Hence, it is
suitable to be implemented in these areas.
We are going to apply the technology for As
Asia Pacific Area by giving electricity to remote
regions or islands. We also provide solutions
utions and consultations related to renewable
energy.

VISION
Business domination in development and implementation of hybrid technology between
wind and solar energy for micro
micro-scale in Asia Pacific.

MISSION
Mastering science and technology in renewable energy, especially in wind energy and
solar energy by carrying out development and innovation of wind and solar power plant to
give inexpensive and eco-friendly
friendly energy solutions, specially for remote areas or islands.

WIND TURBINE

The Sky Dancer - 500

Three blades design enables the rotor

to spin at low wind speed.
Generator type is 3-phase permanent
magnet generator which produces maximum
voltage output 160V
in 1000 RPM.
The cogging-less
technology makes
the spin so smooth
and no-noise.

Cone, protecting
the blade joints which inside
the cone from
wind exposure.

Fin. The furling technology serves as the generator and blade protection
from
rom overly high rotation. It tries to turn sideway the direction
so that turbine is no longer facing the wind and then
turbine can slow down rotation..

Based on our research in Cipatujah Beach, the

he probability of low wind speed (0-2 m/s) in this area at
night is higher, while windspeed in 2 - 12 m/s is more often appear at day. Average windspeed is 2.27
m/s. Wind direction dominant is from East (April - September 2012) and West (October 2012 - March
2013) because the effect of East and
nd West Monsoon are stronger than the effect from sea and land
breeze.
Obtained Power from March 2012 to March 2013 for each wind turbine system is about 189.67 kWh and
the daily average obtained power is about 490 Wh.

IMPLEMENTATION

Sumba Hybrid
Power Plant
July 2013

Our series of activities of Sumba Project:

PROJECT PREPARATION

In this phase, in order to enrich the study as a base oof project design and implementation, we
did survey to the project area. During the survey, we collected wind characteristic data to
discover some potential places around the project area
area. We also gathered information about
demography, electricity needs,, and any related data to support the project implementation. The
data would
ld be used for predicting daily obtained power in each project area and to design the
power plant system.
PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

We started procurement of systems and materials to build the project after evaluating data from
project preparation. The next thing was construction the civil work for power plant and electric
transmission.. Once the construction step finish
finished, we performed the commissioning phase.
And for
or the continuity of the project and its sustainability until the project's life end (20 years),
we dedicated to train the local people.
