CONTROL SECTION
THE LIBRARY EMPLOYS A SYSTEM
FOR SECURITY AND CONTROL OF
LIBRARY RESOURCES.
Entrance and Exit Procedure
Library Entrance
The clientele shall present a properly
validated and counter signed identification
card (I.D.) to door guard. The door guard
shall inspect if the ID belongs to the bearer.
Bags and any other belongings shall be
deposited at the Courtesy Booth.
The clientele are allowed to bring with them
their valuable items.
Library Exit
1. Upon leaving the library, the clientele shall present the baggage counter number in claiming his/her
things.
2. The clientele shall request the released form. (Indicated are: the date, accession number, call number
and counter signed by circulation in-charge of every library material that he/she has taken out).
3. The door guard shall confiscate library materials that are not properly recorded.
*Fiction Books may be borrowed for use (1) week, renewable if not in demand by other students.
*Any book on loan more than one (1) hour loan in the library may be recalled
Arts and Commerce Section contains materials written by foreign authors of all
subjects except books mentioned in the Technology Section.
Books in the Arts and Commerce Section may be borrowed for three (3) days, renewed for
PERIODICAL SECTION
The General Reference Section contains the general and subject references such
as encyclopedias, dictionaries, yearbooks, and other materials referred to for
specific items of factual information. Materials in this section are FOR ROOM USE
TECHNOLOGY SECTION
FILIPINIANA SECTION
The Filipiniana Section contains books about the Philippines, books written by
Filipinos, books written by foreign authors about the Philippines and books written
in Filipino language and dialects.
Undergraduate theses and Supplementary resources files (vertical files) are also
GRADUATE SECTION
Library Internet Center is located at the fourth floor of the main library. Located in this area are
CD-ROM Server, Electronic Resources and other Visual materials.
MUSEUM CENTER
Museum Center is located at the fourth floor of the main library next room of the Library Internet Center.
