Tuesdays with Morrie is a film about friendship between a college student and his
professor. Mitch, a journalist and sports commentator, made his life busy building up his career
and left no time for his girlfriend, Janine. In the films development, Mitch learned that his
former professor, Morrie, is dying of a disease called ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's disease). Mitch
decided to pay a visit to his old friend where he learned how to deal things about life,
relationship and death.
The film made us realize how important life is, where living is not existing to become the
best, number one and/or abundant with material things. Morrie taught Mitch how to balance life,
to give priority to people he loved, and give time for himself. Through death well start to learn
how to live. Well realize the opportunities that we abandoned, the dreams forgotten and what we
plan to become when were old.
Tuesdays with Morrie showed us the most valuable lessons in our life. It made us realize
how to appreciate our lives and decide on how our lives will contribute to others until the end.
