July 17, Sun.-6:30 p.m., Phil Gehman, from Greer, SC and Dean of Students
Emeritus, Columbia Theological Seminary will speak on the subject: A Tale of Two
Traditions: A Presbyterian's Search for His Mennonite Heritage at an outdoor
meeting at the 1855 Allegheny Mennonite Meetinghouse, 39 Horning Road, Mohnton.
There will be special music by the Stumptown Men's Quartet. Please bring a lawn

July 20, Wed.-Bowmansville Sewing Circle will not be held this month(June) due to
other activities held at BMC. However, donations toward Relief kits are welcomed.
The contents consist of the following items:4 lg bars bath soap,1 plastic bottle
shampoo (13-24 oz placed in ziplock bag),4 lg bars laundry soap,4 adult size
toothbrushes,4 new bath towels ( med. weight, dark or bright colors),2 wide tooth
combs,1 fingernail clipper,1 bx adhesive bandages (min. 40 count, assorted),1 pkg
sanitary pads (18-24 count thin maxi) Place items in bag & bring to BMC. Sewing
Circle will see they are taken to MRC for distribution. If you are unable to contribute a
complete relief kit, donations of bath towels are welcome.
July 24, Sun.- 10 a.m. Worship Service at Woodcrest Retreat in Oak Shade pavilion.
(Bring lawn chairs.) The Youth Group will be planning to share about their missions trip
to Guatemala. Weather-permitting, the water slide and swimming pool will be available
to enjoy.
-Save the Date: Sept. 16, 17, & 18, Fri. & Sat. 7 p.m., Sun. 10 a.m. - We invite your
prayers and participation in our church's annual Spiritual Renewal Services. This year
our resource person is David Musser who spoke here in Dec. 2015 on generational
patterns, and he plans to share on these themes in more detail. Many of you expressed
interest in hearingmore. Dave has served as a pastor, a licensed marriage and family
therapist, and executive director for River of Hope, (Christian counseling). Save the
date, and invite others who might be blessed.
-SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS NEEDED:Hinkletown Mennonite School is looking for
bus drivers for daily routes. Extra or substitute hours also available. Willing to train.
