WE WELCOME Jithu who is a First year Seminarian in Vallodolid and will be with us for a couple
of weeks on placement.

APOSTLESHIP OF THE SEA : SEA SUNDAY This weekend is Sea Sunday, when the Church
prays for all those who live and work at sea. There will be a retiring collection on Sea Sunday for
the work of AoS, the official maritime welfare agency of the Catholic Church in Great Britain. It
provides practical and spiritual support to seafarers visiting our ports. As it is wholly dependent
on voluntary donations, please give generously. There are envelopes in the Church porches if
you wish to GiftAid your donation. There is also Year of Mercy cards showing how they carry out
the corporal works of mercy, and there are some stickers for the children. For more information

MASS CHANGE There will no Mass at 9.30am at Our Lady of Peace on Friday, 15th July, Mass
will be at 7.30pm in St Gilberts.
ST ANDREWS 300 CLUB Next weekend Shelagh Whitehouse will be talking about the 300
Club, forms will be available if you wish to join.
RED BOXES First half-yearly collection of APF/MH red boxes is now taking place. Kindly bring
your full box to Mass, where possible, ensuring it is left in safe hands. New boxes are
available at the back of Our Lady of Peace Church. Thank you.
DECEASED Please pray for Hilton Hughes RIP who died recently, his Requiem Mass will be on
Tuesday, 12th July at 1.30pm in Our Lady of Peace, followed by committal at Slough
Crematorium. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed rest in peace. Amen
CONGRATULATIONS to Barnaby Benjamin Ireland who is to be Baptised on Saturday, 16th
July. Please pray for his parents, grandparents and Godparents.

CLEANER : OUR LADY OF PEACE PRIMARY SCHOOL Required to start September 2016.
Monday Friday, 3 hours per day (3.15 p.m. - 6.15 p.m.) Term time only + 3 weeks. Salary:
Slough School level 1 SCP 9. We are looking for a hard-working, reliable and motivated
individual to undertake cleaning duties. You will be required to carry out a range of cleaning
tasks, including dusting, mopping, wiping surfaces and vacuuming, in order to provide a safe &
hygienic learning environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative
and take pride in their work and the appearance of the school. This is a permanent position.
Although this is a term-time only contract, a deep clean takes place during the main school
holidays, when you will be expected to work an additional week each holiday. Full training will be

ST ANDREWS Many thanks to John the painter and his team for the amazing job they have
done painting St Andrew's. He and his team have worked extremely hard over the past few
weeks and our Church has been given a fantastic face lift, and we are all so grateful to him and
his team for their dedication and hard work in achieving such a brilliant job.
PARISH FAMILY BBQ Unfortunately the BBQ on 30th July has had to be cancelled due to lack
of ticket sales. If anybody has purchased tickets please see Danny or Brendan to get their
money refunded

SPIRIT AND LIGHT WORSHIP evening at St Andrews on Friday, 15th July at 8.00pm. These
evenings are led by Fr Andy, and involve moving praise and worship in the Presence of the
Blessed Sacrament, together with gentle prayer ministry where we invite the Holy Spirit to come
and bless us. All welcome, especially those who desire the Lord's healing touch. Please speak
to Fr Andy if you would like any more information.

NYMO : SUMMER CAMP 2015 at Alton Castle, from 14th 19th August. This summer holds an
exciting opportunity for you if you are aged 11-18 years. Summer Camp is a mix of outdoor
activities; sailing, climbing, biking, trekking, muddy games and so on, as well as daily Adoration,
Mass, Reconciliation and formative input from Jimmy Mitchell. There is also a day at Alton
Towers included in the price. Loads of fun will be had as they travel to stay in an actual castle in
Staffordshire for 5 days. Cost 250 per person but they ask for a minimum donation of 175.
