Ingredients
Mutton
: 3/4 kilo
Briyani rice : 1 kilo
Onion (big) : 1/4 kilo
Tomato
: 1/2 kilo (cut into pieces)
Green chilli : 8
Mint leaves : 1 cup (cut finely )
Coriander leaves : 1 cup (cut finely )
Curd
: 1 cup
Lime
: 2
Ginger
: 100 gm
Garllic
: 100 gm
Oil
: 400 ml
Curry masala : 5 tsp
Chilli powder : 3 tsp
Coriander powder
: 2 tsp
Turmeric powder
: 1 tsp
Dalda
: 100gm
Salt
: as needed
Kesari powder : a little
Cardamom : 4
Cloves
: 6
Cinnamon
: a little
Method
Cut onion, green chilli into long slices.
Grind ginger garlic to a paste.
Clean mutton and cut it into pieces.
Cook mutton along with ginger garlic paste and salt in a cooker.
Clean rice and soak it in water.
Heat oil in a broad frying pan.
Add cardamon, cinnamon. cloves.
When they splutter, add onion, green chilli, mint leaves, coriander leaves and fry.
Add chilli powder, coriander powder, curry masala, curd, mutton and stir.
Add a cup of water and cook on a low flame.
In a broad vessel that can cook a kilo of rice, boil water.
Add kesari powder, salt and add soaked rice.
When the rice is cooked, strain the excess water.
Add the mutton masala and stir well.
Add lime juice, dalda and close the vessel with a lid lightly, such that the steam does not escape.
Cook the contents on a low flame for a few minutes.

Remove from the stove, and after a few minutes, stir well and serve hot.
