CHAPTER I INRODUCTION

1.1 ISSUE BACKGROUND

Currently human life can not be separated from information technology. Virtually every human
activity always utilizing information technology, ranging from small things such as sending short
messages to relatives until it is big and complicated as an inventory of the assets of a company.
With the information technology everything becomes easier and faster. First to create a document, for
example, a person must type the letters one by one carefully with manual typewriters which of course
no facilities delete. But now everything has changed and evolved, with their desktop or laptop
computers that have been installed word processing software, we can type at will without any sense
khawati writing typed wrong and can not be addressed.
One of the other information technology rapidly evolving and interesting to discuss is the website or
WWW (World Wide Web). Since it was first ditemukanya, the website has metamorphosed that was
once just a page of text has now been transformed into an interactive page with a variety of media
content in it.
In its development, website or what we call the web only has experienced its own developmental
stages. Each stage has characteristics that distinguish it from other stages.
Web development technologies of course not just stop here. web will always evolving suit the needs
of its users by generating a variety of conveniences and innovations more attractive.

1.2 PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION

1. What is a website?
2. How did the early history of the discovery of a website?
3. How is the development of next website?
4. How and what developing a website that might be in the future?

1.3 PURPOSE OF PAPERS

1. Understanding of the website as well as understanding basic concepts.
2. Understanding the history of early discovery and perekembangannya website.
3. Find examples of website development that may be applied in the future.

CHAPTER II LITERATURE REVIEW

2.1 DEFINITION WEBSITE
Website or often abbreviated term course site is a page that has a topic
related to one another, sometimes accompanied by files of images, video, or
other file types. A web site is usually placed at least on a web server that can be
accessed over a network such as the Internet, or a local area network (LAN) via
the Internet addresses known as URLs.
Combined all publicly accessible sites on the internet also referred to as
Waring Wera Wanua or better known by the acronym WWW. Although at least the
home page of the internet site is generally accessible to the public freely, in
practice not all sites provide freedom for the public to access it, some web sites
require visitors to register as a member, or even ask for payment to be aggota to
be able to access content contained the web site, such as sites that feature
pornography, news websites, e-mail services (e-mail), and others. These
restrictions generally done for reasons of security, respect for privacy, or for
certain commercial purposes.

2.2 HISTORY OF WEBSITE

Website we know it today was invented by Sir Timothy John "Tim" Berners-Lee. He works at the
European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN). Around March 1989, "Tim" proposes a
distribution system in the internet protocol for the exchange of information on the Internet. Finally,
the first website was first launched on August 6, 1991 with the site http://info.cern.ch/
WWW sites declared as a site that can be used by any person or free on 30 April 1993. A website is
written using HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language). HTML is a tag code that instructs a browser to
produce outpu or output in accordance with the manufacturer desires.

In September 1994, 'Tim "founded the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), which is the main
international organization that takes care about the standards of websites that exist today.

2.3 Website development from Time to Time

World Wide Web ("WWW" or "Web") is the world of media information which the user can read and
write via computers connected to the Internet. The term is often incorrectly used as a synonym for the
Internet itself, but the Web is a service that operates over the Internet, nor email. Internet history itself
has been greatly developed before the web first appeared.

2.1 . Web development of the Ages

The development of the website based on the technology and how to use them according to
the informatics practitioners are as follows:

2.3.1 WEB 1.0

Web 1.0 technology is the beginning of the website, where the manufacturer
as a conduit of information and the user only as a reader (such as reading the
newspaper through a computer, searching only activity only) according to BernersLee, can be considered as "read-only web." In other words, the initial web only
allows us to search for information and read it. The language used on the web is still
in the form of HTML only.

2.3.2 WEB 2.0

Web 2.0 appeared around 2003 or 2004, where users can communicate
website 2 directions and have a variety of other advantages.
The advantages of this web are as follows (according to O'Reilly Media):
1. The Web as Platform (execution of an application / article can be directly
done in the Internet media without prior work in windows desktop)
2. Harnessing Collective Intelligence (Web 2.0 has the performance to take
advantage of other people's writing to fill out web content collectively (not
only webmasters fill their own content), such as youtube)
3. Data is the Next Intel Inside (a guarantee of confidence from those who
gave the data to the owner of the website that the web 2.0 era of data is
critical and must be updated every time)
4. End of the Software Release Cycle (on web 2.0 software application can be
used directly via the Internet / Internet to be the platform running the
program)
5. Lightweight Programming Models (creating web 2.0 using mild language
and supports developing a program)
8

2.3.3 WEB 3.0

This site is expected to expand in the years 2010-2020 and is currently still in
the development stage. Transition from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 is now underway in many
aspects. Web 3.0 touch into the lives of people without them knowing it. For example,
many sites are now compatible with mobile phones that allows users to contribute
information to the website from their mobile phones. Focus more web 3.0 services to
individuals where everyone gets the corresponding character information or
something or he wants.
According to PC magazine characteristics of Web 3.0 are:
Semantic Web (Web sites with the ability to read human as easy to
read so that information can be presented quickly and precisely)
The 3D Web (web with a 3D visual capabilities and interaction in
realtime)
The Media-Centric Web (photo, audio, and video will be other ways
to find the information we want in addition to keyword)
The Pervasive Web (Web accessible in different ways and different
tools anytime and anywhere)

2.4 Example Website Technology Development in the Future

A) One user ID Universal
In the future may be increasingly integrated web between the web with other web so
that all the resources that we need can be accessed more easily and quickly on the web. No
longer need we do what it called a sign up or register for a service, simply by using a
universal account that can be used anywhere.
Given the universal account will also reduce the number of web users who memilikia
duplicate accounts. Because each account registered to be checked kevalidaasian data degan
strict requirements anyway. As must show an identity card and also pay some administrative
costs. This can reduce the criminal acts such as fraud in the web that have often occurred
because of multiple accounts or false accounts.
9

The system used is a technology with API (Application Programming Interface).

Every web require data users live access account data sources that are already universal
account via the API provided. With an account so the data can be connected to the web with
the other.

CHAPTER III FINAL

3.1 CONCLUSION
Web page that has a number of interrelated topics, sometimes
accompanied by files of images, video, or other file types.
Website we know it today was invented by Sir Timothy John "Tim"
Berners-Lee. He works at the European Laboratory for Particle Physics
(CERN).
Website is always evolving follow kebuuhan users.

3.2 CRITISM AND SUGGESTION

So that we can describe the material that is the subject of this paper, of course, there are still
many shortcomings and weaknesses, because they lack the knowledge and the lack of references or
references that had to do with the title of this paper.
Author of many hope readers criticism and constructive suggestions to perfect the author after
this paper and writing paper and in subsequent occasions. Hopefully this paper is useful for writers in
particular are also the reader in general.
