Subject: Formal Report Proposal for VPN Solution implementation by Vertex Secure Solutions
Summary:
The report will discuss about secure VPN solutions provided to client according to their
requirements. The deployment of secure VPN solution over the client's network, should be scalable,
reliable and available all the time. These design considerations includes, site to site VPN
connection as well as remote access VPN solutions for client work remotely.
Background:
In today's world, secure communication over Internet and Intranet becomes a bottleneck for all
companies operating over above mentioned networks. As users are no more ideal to the same work
location. They travel from one location to other location, still they want secure access to their
company network regardless of their physical location.
Vertex Secure Solution is responsible to provide end to end security to company's traffic over
Internet. There are many VPN solutions available in market according to their design categories.
But analysts and designers must consider the Cost, Time, and Scope, while initiating the project.
For perfect solution, company has to do research, and analysis before the implementation of
project.
Proposal Details:
Rotomaz Agro Inc. has a medium sized network with one head office and fifteen branches.
Currently company's WLAN network has no security for communication over Internet and Intranet.
Traffic is going in plain text and this is vulnerable to hack by anyone and gather all company's
private information.
Vertex Secure Solution is a company, who provide different security solutions to their clients.
According to client's requirement to secure communication between HO to branches, VPN ( Virtual
Private Network ) extends a private network across a public network, such as the Internet. A VPN
is created by establishing a virtual point-to-point connection through the use of dedicated
connections. Major implementation of VPNs include Open VPN and IPSec.
As client's requirement strongly focused on Security of network. IPSec is a perfect solution to
provide end to end security over Public Network. Finally Vertex came up with two solutions for
their client:
Site to Site IPSec VPN
Remote Access IPSec VPN

Implementation of VPN solutions to provide end to end security to users is primary concern for
