Photoshop. I had to go back and change my logo to have the right colors so that my
webpage could have a complete color scheme. Then I changed the fonts to match
the fonts in my logo. Lastly, to add something extra to my page I put green and white
stripes in my background.

Imaging
Title: Project 3 Imaging
Description: A full-bleed color poster created with an original photo taken with good
photography and editing skills.
Programs: Photoshop
Date: May 21, 2016
Course & Section: Comm 130-01
Instructor: Brother Pingel
Objectives: Learn basic photography skills.
Learn to adjust image levels, saturation, color balance, sharpen tool.
Process: To start my project I thought of a color scheme that I liked. When I was
taking pictures for my photo design activity, I saw these Torani Italian syrup bottles with
the color scheme I had chosen. I took multiple pictures and uploaded the one with the
best quality to Photoshop. I edited the picture and added some text. I liked using the
sharpening tool because it made pieces of my image more clear. I liked that the colors
in my picture worked perfectly to match the colors from the color wheel. It was fun
making boxes on the page to look like the design on the bottle.

Title: Project 4 Montage

Description: A spiritual poster montage using images and type.
Programs: Photoshop
Date: May 28, 2016
Course & Section: Comm 130-01
Instructor: Brother Pingel
Objectives: Learn to blend two or more images together gradually, using masks.
Process: Before I did anything, I sketched out ideas for my poster. After I decided I
wanted the theme of my poster to be the poem Footprints in the Sand, written by
Margret Fishback Powers, I started looking for pictures. I found a perfect image of a
beach but it was very difficult to find a picture of Jesus holding a person to blend into
the picture. To get started I put the beach picture into Photoshop and then added a
picture of Jesus on top. A put a mask on it and then blended it in. The picture of Jesus
was a little lighter than the beach so I darkened that picture to make it look more
natural and more like one picture. To finish up the editing, I messed with the levels and
colors to make the picture more vibrant and focused. Next I added the text. I put an
overlay on the text and then messed with the drop shadowed to finish.
