THE IMPACT OF THE COSMIC “T SQUARE” ALONG WITH

THE GALACTIC ALIGNMENT

THE COSMIC “T SQUARE”
In astrology, a cosmic cross is an ancient term for the T-Square.

Definition of Cosmic Cross or T Square: “Two planets in opposition, each

squared by a third planet, resulting in what is termed a T-square or T-cross.”
Or A T-Square is an astrological configuration in which two planets or
celestial bodies form an opposition, while a third planet forms a square to
both planets in the opposition. When looking at the configuration in the chart,
it resembles a T, which is why it is called a T-Square. :" The minimum
planetary scope of the T-Cross is three planetary points, two of which are in
opposition to each other, both being squared by the third.

The Grand Cross: A fourth planet, opposing the third and squaring the first
two, forms a Grand Cross. The T-square is a dynamic influence; the Grand
Cross tends to diffusion. The minimum planetary scope of the Grand-Cross is
four planetary points, patterned as two pairs of oppositions forming a
sequence of four square aspects.

The Classificaion of the signs of the zodiac:

The signs of the zodiac are divided as follow known as quadruplicities

representing the basic qualities in life :
Cardinal or Moveable signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.
Fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.
Mutable or Common Signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces.

There is a further division according to the elements known as triplicities:

Fire: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.
Earth; Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn.
Air: Gemini, Libra and Aquarius.
Water: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

The Cardinal T-Square of 2010: Saturn, Uranus, Pluto

The T Square between Saturn, Uranus and Pluto takes place cardinal signs
— Aries, Libra, and Capricorn — which are are dynamic and initiate action.

The year 2010, presents us with a challenging, unsettling, and potentially

transformational planetary line-up of the century. A cardinal T-square of
Saturn, Uranus & Pluto is unprecedented in our lifetimes and is, at the very
least, generation-defining -and, more profoundly, could be defining of the
epoch that we are now living through. Already we are seeing extraordinary
world events that are expressing the symbolism in the world – the volcano in
Iceland being the most obvious example.

The year 2012, which marks the end of the Mayan long count calendar, when
the winter solstice sunrise perfectly aligns itself with the galactic centre, which
the Mayans (amongst others) saw as the culmination of an precessional epoch
spanning some 26,000 years. And while this “end date” is given specifically by
the Mayans as 21st December 2010 within their own calendrical schemata, the
actual alignment is precise within a 40-50 year period, so it would be fair to
say though that where we are now in 2010, the winter solstice Sun is in perfect
alignment with the galactic centre. Moreover, on the winter solstice of this

year, 2010, there is also a lunar eclipse – the only one that occurs during the
period of period alignmnent – which places the moon, earth, sun and galactic
centre in a perfect line. So we might already mark 2010 out as being special.

Bill Streett in “ An Alignment for Our Times:2010 “ states the following:

Throughout history, when Saturn, Pluto, and Uranus form hard alignments
such as a T-Square, a time of socio-economic and political destabilization,
tension, and contraction arise. Any hard alignment involving these planets
suggests a period of stress where growth and evolution is demanded yet hard
to achieve. On one hand, the alignment represents a stalemate between
opposing forces, and, on the other, the alignment represents a time where
pressure, hardship, and frustration ultimately give birth to something
radically new. Out of this alignment arises a new order, where the old order
disintegrates and gives rise to new social, economic, and political visions and
movements.

THE GALACTIC ALIGNMENT

The Maya were aware of our solstice sun's impending alignment with the
Galactic Plane and the Galactic Center, an astronomical alignment that
occurs only once every 26,000 years. The end-date of the Long Count
Calendar in 2012 pinpoints a rare alignment in a vast cycle of time called the
precession of the equinoxes. The difficult concept is “the precessional cycle of
26,000 years determined by the axis of the Earth inscribing a great circular
arc in the heavens know as the 26,000 year precession. The final analysis of
the Maya Cosmogenesis 2012 shows how the rising sun on December 21st,
2012 will align itself directly with the center of the galaxy. This wobbling of
Earth's axis changes our orientation to galactic center and this opens the way
for the beginning of a new world age, a re-birth into an entirely new
participation in the greater whole. This 2012 solar galactic alignment offers all
of humanity the opportunity to assimilate the complete understanding of
returning to galactic center. It will augur the complete understanding of the
ascent and decent of our higher minds and spiritual understanding.”

John Major Jenkins states: "Our inner growth should now be able to expand
beyond the superiority complex of our own civilization, now that we know
that the ancient Maya had attained a level of cosmic understanding that

modern science has not grasped. That the event occurs at all I think is part of
the grand design of cosmic evolution. I imagine the Galactic Center as the
Root chakra, muladhara. Earthlings, out here on a distant spiral arm, are
perhaps at the fifth level, the level of mentation. I.E., the distinctive property
of our particular plane of existence on the great evolutionary journey to full
consciousness is to master fifth level chakra energies.. Beyond, us, in the
direction of the Galactic Anti Center, towards the Pleiades and Orion, lies the
great open-ended expanse of space beyond our own Galaxy. On these more
distant streams of Anti Center, towards the Pleiades and Orion, lies the great
open-ended expanse of space beyond our own Galaxy. On these more distant
streams of the Galactic River, perhaps exist beings more evolved than us, in
the process of mastering 6th level and 7th level chakra energies.
I believe that the Galactic alignment stimulates consciousness evolution on
this planet, whether or not beings alive during the alignment era are aware of
it happening. I also feel that it occurs every 26,000 years, whether or not
beings alive during the alignment era are aware of it happening. I also feel
that it occurs every 26,000 years, but that this time around is the first time
that humans are consciously aware of it. We may, in fact, be emerging into a
galactic level of awareness this time around."

The Galactic Alignment by John Major Jerkins

John Major Jenkins enlightens us in the following words and diagrams:

“It is important to define what the Galactic Alignment is in precise

astronomical terms. (See the Glossary below for terms.)

The Galactic Alignment is the alignment of the December solstice sun with the
Galactic equator. This alignment occurs as a result of the precession of the
equinoxes.

Precession is caused by the earth wobbling very slowly on its axis and shifts
the position of the equinoxes and solstices one degree every 71.5 years.
Because the sun is one-half of a degree wide, it will take the December solstice
sun 36 years to precess through the Galactic equator (see diagram below).
THE IMPACT OF THE COSMIC “T SQUARE” ALONG WITH
THE GALACTIC ALIGNMENT
The precise alignment of the solstice point (the precise center-point of the
body of the sun as viewed from earth) with the Galactic equator was
calculated to occur in 1998 (Jean Meeus, Mathematical Astronomy Morsels,
1997).

Thus, the Galactic Alignment "zone" is 1998 +/- 18 years = 1980 - 2016. This
is "era-2012."

This Galactic Alignment occurs only once every 26,000 years, and was what
the ancient Maya were pointing to with the 2012 end-date of their Long Count
calendar.
THE IMPACT OF THE COSMIC “T SQUARE” ALONG WITH
THE GALACTIC ALIGNMENT
These are the astronomical facts of the matter. From a larger perspective, we
can visualize the 2012 Galactic Alignment in the following way:

Position A is where the December solstice sun was in relation to the Milky
Way some 3,000 years ago. Position B is 1,500 years ago. And position C is
"era-2012", when the December solstice sun has converged, as a result of the
precession of the equinoxes, with the exact center-line of the Milky Way (the
Galactic equator). Notice that the place of alignment is where the 'nuclear
bulge' of the Galactic Center is located.”

WHAT MAKES 2010 SO SPECIAL

John Wadsworth comments: What makes 2010 so special is the line of planets
that occurs this year. The three heavyweight planets, Saturn (in Libra),
Uranus (in Aries) & Pluto (in Capricorn) make a perfect t-square in the
heavens this year, for the first time since 1931, and in June Jupiter joins in
conjunction to Uranus. In late July / early August, Mars & Venus join in, and
on 7th August the moon enters the sign Cancer, forming a perfect grand cross.
THE IMPACT OF THE COSMIC “T SQUARE” ALONG WITH
THE GALACTIC ALIGNMENT
Between 30th July and 7th August this year, we will experience a specific
planetary configuration of the highest potency, prompted by Saturn & Mars
entering the sign of Libra and a cardinal t-square forming into a grand cross.
On 7th August, Saturn, Mars & Venus are conjunct in Libra opposing Uranus
& Jupiter in Aries – making a grand cross with Pluto in Capricorn opposed
Moon in Cancer. This whole configuration is exact within 5 degrees spanning
the first 5 degrees of the cardinal signs.

The planetary archetypes involved can explain why these times tend to be so
challenging and destabilizing. Saturn symbolizes tradition, order, and limits;
for all intents and purposes, Saturn represents the establishment at any given
point in time. In many ways, Uranus is in complete contrast to Saturn’s order
and tradition. Uranus symbolizes humanitarian progress and freedoms
relative to Saturn’s restrictions and traditions. Uranus ushers in new
changes, a heightened renewal of creativity, new reforms, and new ideals to
aspire to. A person aligned with the archetype of Uranus tends to be more
visionary, more idealistic, and unbound from the limits, traditions, social
expectations and conservative sensibility that defines the person more attuned
with the archetypal Saturn.

On 21st December 2010 coincides with a total lunar eclipse. This is the only
lunar eclipse that will occur over this period of 36 years or so during which
the winter solstice sunrise is directly aligned to the Galactic Centre. The
Mayans, among other cultures, have identified this dark rift in the milky way
galaxy (between Sagittarius & Scorpio) as the cosmic source of all creation
(and destruction) and they have specifically tied their mythological and
calendrical traditions to its winter solstice alignment. It is the place to which
the Mayan shamans have always ventured on their visionary journeys in
order to gain wisdom and understanding. On Winter Solstice this year, thanks
to the lunar eclipse, and for the only time during this period of solar
alignment, the Moon, Earth, Solstice Sun and Galactic Centre will all be in
perfect alignment.

Those of us with planets in the early degrees of the cardinal signs may feel this
alignment particularly powerfully this year, but we will all experience it at
some level in our own personal lives. This is a challenging time, but also a time
of extraordinary opportunity.
