Objectives:
-Convey a message to people that familes ultimately have the potential to be together forever through religious
conviction.
Process:
-The first thing that I did was find a picture of and LDS temple that I liked, and touched it up. I removed smoke that
was in the back ground and touched up on some other things that were in the background. I then proceeded to apply
various layer masks to give it that warn look that people like so much. I then added a screened text with the message
that I wanted to convey and added my initials in the bottom right hand corner.

-An event ad that was designed for a fictional Adopt a Grandparent event hosted by a fictional retirement home.

Objectives:
- Create a visual message using basic programs that are more commonly had.
Process:
- Scanned a picture from a magazine that highlighted what I wanted to promote. Extracted a color scheme from the
image and created an argyle design on top of a coral background. I then wrote out the information of the event and

- A flier designed to promote the Graduate Leadership Conference.

- Adobe InDesign
Objectives:
- Create a flier using mostly black and white as an introduction on how to learn the Adobe InDesign to create content.
Process:
- I first decided what pictures I wanted to use and placed them inside of the boxes. I took the provided
text and information, corrected spelling errors, and laid it out into an easy to read layout. I then added the
logo, and the event title. Later I added the blue lines in the background to add some color to the design.

- To apply learned HTML and CSS skills that were learned in class.
Process:
- Began with typing up the origial HTML document in Notepad++. After that, I began researching how to get certain
things to do what I was wanting them to do on the internet. After that I planned out how I was going to create contrast
between the logo and the rest of the page. I then linked the CSS document into the HTML document and filled in the text

- To combine the different skills that we have obtained over the semester into one cumulative project.
Process:
- I started with some sketches on pieces of computer paper to be able to visualize exactly where I would need
to put anything. I interviewed my brother about his passion for writing, found pictures that highlighted his
influences, took out the background of his picture, created a swirl in Illustrator, put it together, and printed

- A motivational picture that was taken and edited to show basic photoshop skills.

Objectives:
- To implement basic photography skill as well as basic photo editing skills on Adobe Photoshop.
Process:
- I started out taking pictures and trying to find something that could be used to motivate people. I found a lovely angle
of what is known as the Taylor Building on the Brigham Young University - Idaho campus. I touched up the levels, the
color balance, and the vibrance and saturation. After that, I looked up a tutorial on how to create a sun burst and added
that to the image at the top peak of the Taylor Building. After that, I added a motivational message to encourage people
to be themselves

- A logo designed for a cheesecake company that I had as a youngster.

Objectives:
- To highlight different skills in Adobe Illustrator though designing a logo for either a person or a business.
Process:
- I started with sketches showing what the logo could look like. I took three sketches and designed them in Adobe
Illustrator. I picked one, simplified it, and then produced three different logos to show what it would look like on a
variety of different mediums.

- A busniess card designed to give to potential employers with my contact information.

Objectives:
- Learn how to link other Adobe files into Adobe InDesign to create a superior document.
Process:
- I started with sketches after looking up different business cards for inspiration. I then started designing certain
elements of the card such as the music note and the part that has my name. After that I imported the documents into
InDesign and put together the business card.

Process:
- I did some sketches on what I wanted my letterhead to look like. I then took the same elements that were used to
design my business card and then started out with my letterhead. I imported the logo twice, once for the top left, and
once for the watermark. Put lines in for the body area, and then put my contact info into the top right.
