Testimony from a couple

from week one. They live in

a large city north of here.
The marriage intensive was a blessing,
and we have already
recommended it to others. Sometimes in the
course of serving others we neglect our
"nearest neighbor" (our
spouse), and the intensive allowed us the opportunity to refocus
and learn how to love
one another better.
The teaching sessions
equipped us with helpful tools to strengthen
our marriage, and the
small group discussions served to diagnose some issues in our
relationship. The individual attention to our
specific issues was especially encouraging
and the love exemplified by the facilitators
was motivating. We
felt like our facilitators
were cheering us on.
Thanks be to God for
this experience!

Turkey 2016 Humming Along!

We arrived safely though tired on
May 10th. Mark immediately set out
to get set up and Pat sluggishly tried to
get her jet lag self adjusted. It was REALLY cold here the first night as the
heat was turned off. After getting the
heat on and getting groceries we settled in. Walking the streets of Seluk
we saw old friends and was given a royal welcome by our favorite restaurant
owner. He has declared Mark mayor. I
(Pat) am not sure how the real mayor
would feel about that.

We will begin our 3rd set of couples in the morning and look forward
to meeting them tonight.
We have already worked with 4
couples and are always amazed at
how the Lord meets them in special
ways. He so loves these couples and
so do we.

We enjoyed an Easter Service

wonderful service in both Turkish
