Hired to turn around a global purchasing team in high volume/service distribution, implement new KPIs,
cost savings plans and upgrade skill level. Direct team locations North America, UK, Mexico.
Inherited a team of 30 comprising of demand planners, analytics and operations with annual spend of
over $500 million, restructured, re-trained entire team.
Drove team to meet 64.5% of annual cost savings target for 2016 by end of Q1.
Restructured demand planning team by technology type to increase efficiency and improve
skills/knowledge for each team member and enhance/build solid supplier relationships.
